World Wynncraft Is Dead But I Think It Can Be Revived

Nothing i said was a guess but that last number.
I mean minecraft RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT, has the 2nd most people playing it. Its also the 2nd most looked up.
This is according to Google, it is litteraly a fact.

With my current knowledge Minecraft is not close to second place. For starters, Fortnite is first, we all know that. I also know that League of Legends was the most popular game until the battle royal genre came around, which was popularized by Pubg. Pubg still has a high number of players, as does League of Legends. I just don't see Minecraft being the second most played game currently. The only article I found was written in 2016, 2 years in the past.

Edit: Before, you mentioned that it was second on the slidey thing when you googled "video games". Just going to point out that that it isn't even a list, as Fallout 76 is on the list, which isn't even released yet.

Edit #2: Twitch viewership, it's at around 3000 people for me currently, whereas other games are at 100 thousand viewers.

 

My source is literally google trending api for search terms, as well as the actually counted player base according to Minecraft themselves.

He can explain most of the basic info better then I, and his general argument is what got me into the opinion that it isn't dead.

 

Twitch viewership has always been abysmal for Minecraft, youtube is where it's at. You pull in those consistent millions of views click baity garbage vids there.

I just looked up a quick [Inaccurate] chart of video games in 18 on PC ONLY in popularity, so obviously a lot of games like Fortnite are shown a lot less popular than they are, but MC is still at #6, and still pulls in millions of players. It's not second place whoever said that is lying but it's still popular as fuck.

#1 yes, more prominence on yt and such would be great, that's it.
#2 no, just, no no, not another world, there's been WAY to much work into this one to just go, welp, let's give up and start from less than nothing.
#3 clash of clans, this would just be a mc version of cash of clans.
