With the advent of 2.2's Fruma update, two things have impacted the mythic scene for shade that have heavy consequences for Weathered.

The first addition is Shadestepper's ultimate ability, which allows the user to "Reap all the benefits of vanish" while recieving no downsides (mana regen and health Regen are not blocked). Weathered's major identification does the exact same thing.

The second addition was an massive buff to the mythic Grimtrap. I'll put the old and updated version in a spoiler so they don't take up too much space, but long story short Shade has a new QoL mythic, bringing the total up to two with weathered (Oblivion is basically a QoL mythic but it does a lot of damage and it's used on trick too)

(If it didn't get reworked and wynnbuilder is lying to me, I cant verify it because mythics aren't on the item guide for some reason)

Given that we have this information, let's look at the mythic distribution for Assasain. I'm only looking at mythics that are very clearly made for one archetype with major id's when I say this, to clarify.

Shade has three and a half
    Vengeance
    Grimtrap
    Weathered
Oblivion (kinda sorta) (I mean it's very good without a doubt, has all the things shade needs.)

And Trickster and Acro each have ONE, being their tri-elementals, Architect and Hanafubuki.
    Why????
I hope that the mythic ascension system will bear fruit, but all it has provided so far is Nirvana and Archangel remaining multipurpose (or just generally mid in archangel's case) (at least it's somewhat better now)
Therefore, I would like to suggest that in order for balancing the rates of mythic distribution per archetype, Weathered be given a MID that benefits a different archetype. So why not acro, the very archetype that is affiliated with air via a Mastery?

I don't have many ideas for a MID at the moment, so if anyone would like to share their thoughts on this very, very old suggestion, be my guest.

While I'd love an acro mid on weathered as a weathered acro player, I don't actually think it's that big of a priority. Weathered is already pretty good for acro, and the MID allows it to be useful for Shade and Trickster.

I think the best way to go would be for Weathered to get something that's beneficial all around.
