    A toggle command to remove armor's texture so it's only player skins what can be seen. It wouldn't affect other players. Just cosmetic.

    Well, it's not really supposed to have a mechanical use in Gameplay. As I said, it would be just cosmetic.

    Eh, why not. It would be fun to mess around with. Its either they add this in so i can make my own badass looking skin and have it show, or they bring back custom armor textures

    just download the pack and then remove the armor textures.

    They don't have to add such a complicated thing.

    Aws404 made a resourcepack for this, but it needs optifine to function. Here's a link.

    If you don't use optifine there isn't much to do but what Arch said, as I doubt this would be possible ingame.
