World Tiers

Where does the "Set" tier fall in this? And how would it even benefit you by making it a set tier, when there's no other pieces in the set?

 

I mean, this suggestion is literally "Money = Power"

Which I guess it already is, so there's really not any reason to add on to that even further. In other words, money is already the best way to become more powerful, we don't need to exaggerate that fact even more.

Despite that, the idea behind the suggestion isn't too bad. It needs some nerfs, though. For example, rather than "x upgrades per level," it should really just be a set amount of tier upgrades for each weapon tier, each one adding a bit of damage or defense. Apart from nerfs, rather than just money, it should be a different, rarer (and preferably untradeable) type of "currency," like some new mob drops. Essentially, creating a Blacksmith that can upgrade your gear with the right materials.

TL;DR interesting concept but the actual suggestion is no good, both being too strong, and over-enforcing the importance of money.

 

Perhaps scrap the upgrading tiers part, but keep the upgrade part. Taking into acc what everyone else said as well, max upgrade, increased prices, etc. Upgrades should be pretty costly for high levels, since they have all de mooley
