Things That Quests Need

    1. A client side marker.

    To elaborate, a marker that can be seen through walls that track the next objective of the quest. It could also be a Skyrim sort of quest marker instead

    2. more reworks

    I know that quests take time to make and rework, but there are a handful of quests that need to be reworked and I think that GM’s should be putting more time into them on non-content focused updates (e.g 1.14-17 and not 1.19)

    3. Less "looking at the wiki".
    I know, most quests are easy to track but sometimes you get lost or can't do that puzzle, and with a heavy feeling in your heart you type 'wynncraft wiki' in Google and look in shame at the quest guide hippysnuggles or that other YouTuber (onilious03?) made.

    Just use Wynntils.
    It would be quite hard to do it client side (at least what I know)

    Any specific quests?

    I am rather new to Wynncraft, so i am simply basing this of some of my own experience and some community opinions.

    Which 1.18 ones? Most of them were reworks, and even if DnD may have bad characters, on quest level they are still really good.

    How many reworks would you want to see?
    This description probably covers 80 quests, by rough estimate. Are you expecting CT to rework every single one of them in a single update? If this is your intent, then I feel that it's an unreasonable request. If not, then this suggestion isn't sensible because the CT is already reworking quests in every single update. Updates generally rework a number of quests despite focusing predominantly on another aspect of the game (eg. economy, silent expanse). We've already seen recent reworks in Infested Plants, Deja Vu, Recover the Past, and Star Thief. We've also seen new quests in the DnD line (notably, it wasn't the focus of its update), the SE quests, Misadventure on the Sea and Order of the Grook. The tutorial's been reworked twice since 1.18. A number of quests have seen improvements, even if not reworks: Creeper Infiltration, Reincarnation, and The Fortuneteller are examples that occur to me.

    overall gavel as a whole just needs a rework
    it's shitty, rushed, and a shithole of wasted potential

    Problem is that some quests require you to travel across the entire world to reach the next stage. The way this would have to work is that they would have to have a shulker on an armor stand with glowing that floats about 50 blocks away from you at any given time (until you are within 50 blocks of your destination at which point it will halt)

    There are plenty of client side things in the game, like certain animations for discoveries and quests as well as world discoveries (client side one time encounters where you see something happen when you go there, tree island for an example)
    There are even client side blocks, so I don't see this as beyond anything they can do.

    I'm noticing that you ask for lots of changes yet don't actually offer any ways to make said changes, or even where said changes should be made. Interesting. Additionally, the client side quest marker you mentioned is very possible, if not easy but some of us prefer having to follow paths and read NPC instructions. Hell, some of us would even prefer not to have coordinates given to us for the next objective. Also, how would you suggest quests limit looking at the wiki? Doesn't seem like something that's very easy or even possible to do. Just some food for thought.

    If you don't need it, don't use it. If you need it, you shouldn't be restricted to do so. That is why the wiki is here, to provide information and help players.

    Also it would be (nearly?) impossible

    I think you misunderstand, I just want puzzles and quests to be more simple.
