Herb cave gives me a stack every five minutes.

 

Try doing dodegars ultimate weapon. You need to farm nearly 200 total items
(and only one of each different item is used by the npc)

 

I just get stacks upon stacks from grinding, so it's not really difficult to do at all. Under 30 minutes total.

I just started this quest today... I have been in 34% loot bonus gear, farming, for just under an hour and I only have 13 zombie eyes. this is either glitched or its just my usual bad luck... :/

 

I recently did the quest. Rotten zombies do in fact drop the eyes btw.

The way I did it is a bunch of Lvl 60-75 people did the jungle mini dungeon a few times. They got xp and emeralds they needed, and each person gets like 8 eyes or something. There were like 5 of us, and they gave me all the eyes.

I would tag them, because they were a great help, but I forget their names

One had robot in his name, one has dm, and I forget the rest

 

It is not that hard. I did the quest at the minimum level it was due. All you just need to do is complete the jungle minidungeon.

Yes they do, it's just the ones that hold axes, according to my studies.
I don't know why, but the ones with axes always drop eyes.
There is a cave somewhere by a path in between the Jungle Village and the Troms road, that has the ones with axes in it.

Don't ask me why only the ones with axes drop eyes, I have no idea, but it's true.

On a less shameless advertising note, Zombie eyes actually drop from Rotten Zombies, Tribal Zombies, and Jungle Fetishes. From my grinding to restock my inventory the drop rate seems to be pretty even with all of them; however, I have a 140+% Loot bonus so it's easier for me to gather them (which is why I set up a Junk Shop that sells not only Zombie eyes but also all the items you need for ToL which inclues Leather, Rotten Flesh, and Blaze Powder all at an affordable price! c:) If grinding the 48 Zombie eyes is too much for you, I recommend buying them from players (like DDD's Junk Sh- ok I'll stop now XD).

Again, the zombies do drop them... I did that quest in literally 29 minutes of cave farming.

 

Hello I am assh catchup and I have a comment. In my humble opinion, I believe that the struggle to get the eyes is very time consuming although, I belive that this hard task makes the game the game. Now before you disagree, the players must have a challenge so that it is complicated to complete the game. Now with the Gavel update there is so much more to do but if the quests are too simple, then everyone would easily finish the game. Then the creators would be urged to make another update and if the plead is not completed then players will be lost. Overal I beleaf this quest is hard because it is hard. #gottaKaetchumall
