This is great suggestion. It gives you a reason to actually collect the junk items you get.
I would probably add a few weaker weapons that cost less (like 256 unmeltable ice instead of 640) so that we have a wide range of prices. Of course, the weapons are just ideas of what could be made.

I think it would be better if you can buy unidentified items, and buy them with misc. items only and no junk items.

 

this is probably oneof the best and most creative ideas ive seen to date. Id love to see this added to the game as junk items atm serve virtually no purpose other than to clutter ur inventory :'/. +juan great idea!

 

Amazing Idea Could use a little tweaking but it's an amazingly good idea for junk items.

 

Absolutely Pure support. And i think the "bits" could be called Scraps, if anyone else has suggested this name, sorry. But the prices should not go above 10 stacks, due to weapon space, potions, etc.
Also it's really detailed, which makes it better. Definitely DO NOT add a new tier, keep it as unique to legendary.
And i think blacksmiths should be located all over Wynn and Gavel so that you don't have to walk like all the way across the map to get your item xD

Thank you for the support! With this new edit I changed the bits to shards, and the 'Forged' tier is now removed. As for the lore, I just used the /i command on my server.

No, they don't have fixed stats, the weapons in the thread show base stats. Also, I do believe that existing items could be made from this, however some of them are too rare to made out of junk items. Thank you for the support!

None of the items are meant to be implemented into the game, they are just there for representations of the concept.

Just did that so it would add a change in the items. And yes, it would look quite strange

 

i think that this is really good, but i think there should be a system to make custom weapons with different effects per the different thing you add ( including effects and magical abilities like powders do) and you could also get different elemental crystals to add elemental damage. good suggestion though!

 

Thank you for the support! There are a few reasons why custom weapons aren't a part of this thread. First, I presume it would be difficult to code as each combination would have to resemble a new weapon. Second, being able to make custom weapons would ruin the point of having to find a weapon you want, or save up items to buy them. Though it is a good idea, I do not see Wynncraft adding it any time soon. Again, thank you for taking the time to read my thread!
