Hello there. I've played many, many RPGs, and a common element in starting off is choosing a "race" that gives certain buffs and perks, but also weaknesses. I think this could be implemented into Wynncraft. The race would be chosen alongside the class, and saved within the class. Choosing a race would give you extra skill points, elemental stats, a passive skill, and possibly access to areas for a certain race. This race info would be displayed as an ender pearl(?) in the compass menu, above the Intelligence Skill Book. The buffs may look something like this (Sorry, I can't make pics):

Orc
Tough Meat: +5 Strength
Creature of Earth: +5% Earth Damage & Defense
Born To Fight: +20 Melee Damage
Simpleminded: -5 Intelligence
Crushing Rage: When below 10% health, melee damage increases by 25%.

Dwarf
Lucky Day: +5 Dexterity
Thunder Storm: +5% Thunder Damage & Defense
Treasure Hunter: +5% Loot Bonus
Hardheaded: -5% Spell Damage
Axe Master: When an enemy is hit, enemies within 3 blocks take 50% damage.

Elf
Understanding: +5 Intelligence
Mana Pool: +5% Water Damage & Defense
Magic Master: +20 Spell Damage
Mind Over Matter: -5% Melee Damage
Spirit Magic: If player dies with full mana remaining, there is a 5% chance they will revive at half health and no mana or mana regen for 15 seconds.

Dragonborne
Tough Scales:+5 Defense
Flaming Warrior: +5% Fire Damage & Defense
Fiery Breath: +5% Exploding
Burning Heart: -5% Health Regen
Draconic Claws: All attacks do 10% Fire Damage.

Angel
Mighty Flight: +5 Agility
Cloud Nine: +5% Air Damage & Defense
Light As Air: +5% Walk Speed
Blade of Wind: -5 Defense
Pure Heart: When afflicted with a status effect (poison, life steal, etc.), there is a 30% chance it will be oppressed (It will not happen).

Human
Jack Of All Trades: +1 All Skills
Warrior's Resolve: +5% Melee & Spell Damage
Quick Learner: +5% XP Bonus
I'm Only Human: -5% Health
Determination: When dying, there is a 25% chance to lose no soul points.

Every 20 levels, the buff would increase, and the debuffs would decrease. You would get a notification in chat, along with the new quest, new spell/upgrade, and skill points. This is an example of a level 21 Dragonborne's stats. The numbers in parentheses show what it was increased by:

Dragonborne
Tough Scales: +8 Defense (+3)
Flaming Warrior: +10% Fire Damage & Defense (+5%)
Fiery Breath: +10% Exploding (+5%)
Burning Heart: -3% Health Regen (+2%)
Draconic Claws: All attacks do 20% Fire Damage. (+10%)

(Note that each skill would receive a different amount increase)

Each 20 levels, the stats receive an interval increase, or the same amount each time. If you do the math, at level 60, the debuff would become a buff. This seems like a great twist to add.

I've taken note that throughout the quests, the players are referred to as "humans", coming from Fruma. I've thought it through, and I think players could be referred to as "adventurers". This could add to the lore as well. I've seen enough of Wynncraft to understand the storyline. Here's an example excerpt:

" The Corruption spread panic and chaos throughout the provinces. It seemed as if no one could stop the creatures of darkness. Then, just as the world was about to fall apart, the King of Ragni gathered powerful warriors from every province. They bravely fought the corrupted and protected the inhabitants of the provinces. They are referred to as 'Adventurers'."

If a player wanted to change their race, there could be an NPC such as "The Wizard of Transformation" who can change your race for a price. This can be implemented as a quest similar to "Tower of Amnesia", where the player mist gain certain items to gain the priveledge to acquire Skill Reset Scrolls. In a similar manner, the player would work to find the wizard, who will help them at a price (3LE). The concept of races also opens up the possibility of race-specific quests. For example:

Find Gundahm the Orc at (x y z)
Gundahm: You no orc! Gundahm only trust orc! LEAVE OR I SMASH YOU!!

I understand that there are many things I haven't discussed yet. The numbers are guesstimates, and they can be changed. The names for races and their buffs are open for change as well (I ran out of ideas). The whole concept looks like it has the potential to become big, so it may be saved for the next big update. This idea isn't just mine, it's welcome to suggestions from anyone. I'm fairly new to the forums, so I'd be happy to get some. I'm welcome to changing it, and I'd love to see this in Wynncraft. I will try to answer as many replies as I can, but I don't know how many I will get, so I'm sorry if I can't reply. Please read any replies I've made, as they may discuss similar questions to yours. I appreciate the suggestion, but I designed each race to go along with an element, and the Human as an All-Rounder. There isn't room for a new race, nor would a Villager race make much sense, since villagers rarely fight (except for guards).
