In Wynncraft if you get stuck in a quest, in progression, or physically stuck, and /fixquests doesn't work you simply can't do anything and will have to wait until the next update for a patch which might take months. This suggestion is very simple. Moderators should have a command that completely resets the progress of a player on a particular quest. The command would look something like this /resetquest (Player) (Quest name). A new forums section under bugs could be made dedicated for players to ask moderators to fix their quest. To prevent potential abuse /resetquest would not work on quests that are already completed and it will not return any rewards or items from a quest.

Some player is probably going to find a way to abuse it so giving it to staff who do it on a per needs basis would probably be the safest way. Also, it happens rarely enough where a player really wouldn't need to have it. The situation I'm thinking of is for A Journey further the player gets 5 le before finishing the quest, a player could just reset the quest after getting the le and do it again and again. No items or rewards are returned because the player already got them.

    Cool.
    Which staff would have access?
Moderators and Admins I would assume.

I suppose I support this specifically as a player, but I don't think it's likely that this will get implement as a tool only for Moderator+. I imagine the strain this would put on the moderation team is comparable to the strain they would face if Discord links were allowed in the Forums. To quote Salted, its a "Gigantic pain to manage and won't fully resolve the previous issues I mentioned." Moderating Discord invites would be a ton of work and resetting quests for players would be a ton of work, too.

The game developers should be responsible for preventing things like this from happening so having them try to fix it like this is very reasonable to ask for. It is the only way to amend a mistake in a timely manner. Maybe they don't have to reset quests for players who aren't able to progress in an unimportant quest but for hard locks where players are permanently stuck in an area due to a flaw in game design deserve to be helped. I wouldn't think the burden on staff would be that bad considering that these problems aren't that common and only happen in cases of really bad luck.

This is the only issue I have with it. Give it to QA instead, they are the ones who can decide best when it is needed.
The new section would not be needed then. (Also if it existed it would inevitable be flooded with even the slightest issues, not counting abuse attempts

This is actually kind of impossible with our current systems. Quests are a lot more complicated and often mixed with our script system. Scripts are what causes issues, and those save a TON of value and data to your character and the server doesn't necessarily know which data is meant for which quest.

So this in layman's terms is, quests data mixes with character data and once it is mixed in there it can't be separated from other quest data so trying to reset a specific quest would be like trying to look in sand for specific bits? Well, it's good to know this was at least considered. Thanks.
