    i disagree with this because:
    1. you already gets buffs from skill points
    2. they open up elemental armor that gives you buffs for those types of elements
    3. its just needless when items that require a high amount of one stat already make investing in one stat a good option for them

cool stuff. I would like to see it implemented but earth is the only thing with negative effects. to make it more fair and realistic every element should have its downfall.

It might be a good idea to make the negatives appear on the second-to-last perk (or maybe even before) and make the final perk remove the negative effects rather than adding more good. And I agree, all of the perk sets should have a negative side. @Nepeta Leijon

I'll look into balancing this, though perhaps I should just remove the negative effect from Earth, since they're meant to be 'perks'.

Perhaps. Having the second-to-last perk set add negative effects could make it so that players need to think about what they are doing before they go all-in in a single element.

There's a bit of an imbalance where perks are not equivalent(+5% melee damage for 15 points in Strength versus 10% water damage and 5% spell damage for 15 points in Intelligence). I can understand this for the later tiers(Tiers 3-5, which are 50, 75, and 100 points, where things start branching out and it can be hard to equalize), but the early tiers should be kinda similar.

I mainly did this because Strength already increases your melee damage passively, while Intelligence only reduces spell costs at certain amounts. I can buff Earth a bit though.

I thought Strength was buffing all your damage plus your earth damage, instead of just your melee damage.

Although Water seems kinda overpowered, considering that the offensive elements(Earth, Thunder)have 5% bonus, while the defensive elements(Fire, Air)have 10% bonus, so Water could be a middle ground.
