Game Mechanics Skill Point Perks [1764+ Supporters] [salted Likes It]

Buff -everything- because of -one- element? No way; then the thunder element would be the only thing to use!

 

All of them are pretty OP (Or you could nerf the skill point perks)

 

I tried to make the perks as similar to the types of perks you would get from the items related to the element (eg: +10% Element Damage), and they stack up over time to become powerful; however you need to keep in mind you can only get 2 perks maxed out, and that's spending all your points, so you'd probably want to only max one perk to gain the benefits related to your main element build. So, as OP as they might look laid out on the thread, you're probably only going to get 1 of those elements maxed.

@Nepeta Leijon , you should make a 110 skill point bonus and a 120 skill point bonus, seeing as most of those are possible with stat boosts :>

 

They specifically noted that stat boosts from equipment wouldn't affect these, I think.

 

Only the raw points count, as you could very easily gain a lot of the buffs using armour that increases all your points; as well as it being confusing for you to lose and regain buffs when switching out armour and weapons.

 

One slight problem I see is this: It is THEORETICALLY possible for somebody to get over 100 skill points in every element. (Though who is gonna get max +Skill items lol) Would you only be able to choose 1 perk for each skill point amount? (So, I can choose either the 10 STR buff or the 10 DEF buff)

 

Only the raw skill points count, so at level 101 you could only max out 2 skills. If you were to have 10 Skill Points in Strength and Defence, you'd get both Strength and Defence's buffs.

 

Okay, but then you would need level 101 to get the last JoaT perk..... perhaps reduce it to 39 each?

 

JoaT isn't a perk that would be mentioned in game, it'd be more of a secret perk you discover. Besides, having to get to Level 101 makes the work worth it!

Love it, but one problem, you only get 198 skill points, so you can only max 1 stat, and you can't get the final jester. When making a class you should start out with 2 skill points.
