Okay, I’m calling bullshit. They clearly are looking at the threads but they keep refusing to reply because they know that they’re fucking wrong. Seriously, this is immature as fuck. Pretending “I’m right, even though everyone knows I’m not!” Is not how ANYONE should act, even a moderator on a Minecraft server. Even though you’re a volunteer moderator for a Minecraft server, you should have the same maturity as someone like a high-up executive at a huge corporation. By not only ignoring our messages, but also changing poll results to make your opinion seem correct is inappropriate and immature, and I demand that whoever did this is punished or demoted immediately.

 

by the way i just realised that even if they changed “yes” to “no”, the other positive options still add to a higher amount than the first one

Some mod changed the poll results back. Whether that mod was the same one but in damage control or not is unknown.

 

I mean I guess they don't want the shoutbox back...

You can't decide everything with random votes. It is their forum.

But whoever changed the poll is a big meanie.

 

We should be able to. That's the whole point of voting.

It isn't the mods' forum, it's ours. The community's. The people's.

 

I strongly agree with the forum ours but we are not the ones to host it ._. And if they don't want it then they don't want it. They have got their reasons.

 

The forums aren't even hosted by the mods. The real issue is the devs, but more importantly: they don't have any reasons. None that they've told us.

This is literally the same argument as "because I said so," which is utter horseshit in a public forum made for the community. The website exists to serve the people, not the devs.

i agree that changing poll results is pretty scummy if that actually happened (too lazy to read most of the thread), but your first statement is pretty absurd.

here are some examples that i don't think ever happen

example 1:
person a: (a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2
person b: no, isn't it just a^2 + b^2
person a: no, (insert explanation)
person b: silence
person a: wtf why are you being silent, that's so immature of you smh.

example 2:
president: silently vetoes a law
the public: wow we should impeach this president, how immature

example 3:
person a: i bet i'm better than you in (insert game)
person b: lol no i'm better
(they play, person destroys person b)
person b: silence
person a: wow what a sore loser



i've used the shoutbox almost never, and i don't care much about whether it's added back or not, but tbh there's not much reason to remove it either so :shrug:
