Should Loot Running Be Buffed?

So as the title says, should it be buffed?
IMO, yes, I think it should, but to a certain degree. Not like it was pre-nerf but to the point where it will be viable again. My idea is to reduce the rate of ingredients and increase the rate of actual, good gear being in chests, and this counts for all tiers of chests, not just T3 and T4.

I gave up on loot running after the nerf as I never found a single Legendary in the 50 or so T3/T4 chests I looted over the course of 3 weeks. A lot of the times they contained no more than 10 emeralds, a couple of low-tier ingredients that I'll never use and that's it. To be honest, I think it should be much more than that, considering we have to go through quite a few enemies for one T3/T4 chest now.

Sure, a buff might be a bit op for those who have 100%+ Loot Bonus, but chances are if a player has that much Loot Bonus, then they're probably rich as well. So I think for players who don't have much gear or money to go around, it'll be just right.

I'm probably going to get bashed for this, but on a side note, I feel like with every update that arrives, there's a new feature or a small tweak that makes the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Take the Seavale Reef for example which was really the only way players could get at least some LE to maybe buy a Chestnut Horse after a couple of hours. With that nerfed, a lot of players who don't have stacks of LE have to rely on luck with loot chests and mob drops to make the slightest amount of money. There needs to be a way to make money consistently.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope that this concern/suggestion gets taken into consideration.

I definitely agree that moneymaking methods should generally avoid being nerfed unless they're obvious exploits (like Amadel afk grinding, which was rightfully removed) for the exact reason that it prevents newer players from making money. The global moneymaking nerf in 1.18 was imo easily the worst part of the update, even beyond professions.

First off, I do feel it's a bit bad but not that bad if you know where to run.
Second, 100%+ loot bonus is not hard to get AT ALL, you can get things like diamond dust, knucklebones, and jera with alright rolls for very cheap, you don't need the best of the best.
Next, they did indirectly buff it as loot quality was added this update (however very hard to obtain)
Also, what you said first isn't true at all, what happened was you were either running either servers that had just started, or that had been run very recently by other people (which isn't that unlikely). I get legendaries, t2+t3ingreds and other stuff all the time from running SE, even though people run it all the time. I even run corkus too, and that's ALL t1 and t2 chests, and I get tons of t2 and t1 ingredients, as well as the occasional legendary.
Edit: also also, speaking of seavale (lol) they still haven't fixed the money you get vs cost for the artifact thingy... (Like seriously?? I thought this could be fixed in like 1 minute and then on next push it would be done, is it super hard to mess with merchant prices or smth?? Enlighten me pls)

Yeah, I'd like to note that despite my earlier post... it sounds like you're just not lootrunning effectively.

If you want to maximise the efficiency of your lootrun, you should join the bomb tracker discord and use the bot command ‘>up’ as it tells you how long a server has been up.

Generally you should try to lootrun on servers that have been up between 1.5-2.5hrs as it will give enough time for the chests to fill. While its still not a guarantee that others would have just lootran as well, its definitely more favourable than just joining a random server.

Personally I am able to get around 7-8 legendaries and 1 fabled per run in Rodoroc.

If lootrunning gets a buff maybe grinding should get one too
I think it's balanced (maybe they should buff zight Island instead)
