    Would you stop talking about something you dont even know anything about? first of all. this "NERF" you are talking about is just a fucking glitch. second of all, You're talking like its balanced or something, and the "1 in 300" is bullshit too. everyone who i've asked has said that its broken and needs a damage buff. assassin is supposed to be a close melee high damage class. right now its a low damage, and just overall shit

    Then if it's a glitch why is it in the general suggestion section, it should be on github. Either way I'm irritated by the nature of this thread.

    It is true. This thread turned into a flame war.

    Personally, I don't think assassin should be buffed, but if it was nerfed that bad to where it's useless?

    (is it possible to solo death with it anymore? Can someone inform me on that?)

    It's underpowered because of bugs, if i understood your first post correctly. So basically once the bugs are fixed that will make assassin "good" again.


    And @OhHerro if I understood the thread correctly you want them to simply buff assassin? But, wouldn't just fixing the bugs fix the entire issue?
    It is, it's just hard. Anything is possible. Also, nor do I, I just think they should fix the bugs currently associated with assassin.

    Assassin is one of the least used classes that i've seen. If they were to buff it a little then maybe people will play it more.

    Fixing the bugs won't fix the whole issue, because the damage is not a bug. The damage is complete shit, which is 'kinda the problem.' The only bug now is spin attack. My main issue is mulihit being weak as fuck and vanish turning into some kind of mana sucking black hole. I want the devs to both fix the bugs and buff the class until it's on par with the other classes. I'm not being 'greedy' or 'selfish' by wanting both, I want both so the class isn't a damn joke anymore

    From what I hear the bugs are:

    1. Smoke bomb let's people walk out
    2. Spin attack gives mobs extreme speed
    3. The vanish doesn't regen mana while activated

    Although multihit needs a small buff, most of your issues are actually bugs.

    Just tried the nether with assassin and got my ass handed to me c: Same with the other two assassins I met there, so it isn't just because I'm horrible at PvP.

    (which I kinda am)
    Anyway, made a nether update to address balance issues, just below the main paragraph.

    I dont get why you're crying so much about this. I have been levelling my ninja all the way from level 1. I agree bugfixes needed to happen for spin attack but that goes without saying. However just playing through generally I have seen some of the biggest damage numbers from assassin and have found the game easy to progress through. Quite honestly making a petition to buff assassin is currently uncalled for. I don't recall the other 3 classes begging for a buff when assassin was the best class by a mile. Tl;dr assassin is usable but defo needs spin attack bug fix

    Get your ninja/assassin to the nether right now and fight against the mages and archers there. You stand no chance at all. You will get 2 shot from some guy you can't even see, and wont be able to get close range enough to do a multihit or spin attack. Even if you do, the multihit is 4/5 shot to another player. I'm not 'crying' over this, every other high level assassin I have asked, says that it's complete shit and really needs a buff. If you read my nether update post, you would probably understand, but as I can see, you haven't.

    So now you've resorted to putting words into my mouth? As you can see, it's not balanced. If you play in the nether, you'd know that all skills wiped. This is supposed to make everything 'equal,' however it hardly makes it equal as it's nearly impossible to win against a mage of your level. For the main game, the buffs I suggested would work too. That's why I suggested things like: '3 block jump' or 'fix spin attack.' Multihit is weak against players and mobs, it really needs a damage buff for the amount of range it has.

    With every comment you create you add a new buff you want for assassin.
    Increasing its range would ruin the identity of assassin "up close and personal". I have been talking to some assassins, and they agree that assassin now takes some skill to use in nether you just have to play correctly.

    These are the only buffs I have wanted since the beginning of this post. I never said anything about increasing range, I think it should stay as it is. What I AM saying is that it needs more damage for it's short range. And yes, I have talked to many other assassins and they all seem to agree that the classes are very unbalanced.

    Assassin is somewhat balanced now. Before the Gavel update, it was too OP. Then it got nerfed, which I think makes it more balanced.
