What about the quest?

 

I mean by running there, not going in a ship. It's easily possible without these ships being added to the game.

 

True yeah. So we could have a quest anyways for the ships.

 

While looking at the Lusuco/Bucie debate elsewhere on the forums,

That had me thinking. What if Pirate Bay could find some use through the involvement of ships?
The piracy aspect of travelling could include a rare chance to happen upon a 'quest ship', later pertaining to Pirate Bay and Pirate Island. It'd sure give more use to those areas!

But y'know. Shower thoughts.

there is no reason for this to be added because many of these islands can already be reached much faster than the travel time. Also can you imagine the lag from this.

This is just an idea if you want to add it in your thread. Not trying to hijack.

Guild Ocean War:
Like Guild battles on land there should be guild waters on the ocean. When traveling on a ship type /guild declare
(You must be Captain Rank to do that command). When you declare an ocean war you will have 2 minutes to get on the ship or go to Llevigar or Nemract docks. Once the war starts the defenders(undead) will spawn on a ship to the right of the guild ship. Soon the defenders will start jumping onto the guild ship and attacking you. If you kill all the defenders you will claim that territory. The ships will be @Ascended Kitten ship idea.

Just a suggestion if you want to add.

To board said ship in the 2 minute time-frame, the area to be standing in could be the dock areas; Nemract Docks and Llevigar's Docks. Or just one ship that all guilds used to partake in ocean wars...
