sorry for skipping 10 pages of comments and asking anything that was already asked and answered.
1) is it only one way? how will we return from places to the ship yard?
2) if the it isn't one way you need to work on the destination tiers from each different harbor. (or you could just group the harbors into groups to ease your work)
3) you should make it like guild war where you cant start it ~15 minutes (I don't know the exact time) before a server "restart".

 

This idea is amazing, but I gotta ask: What tha hell are fox-votes and meows

Thanks, completly forgot about some of those things!

1+2) Every possible destination has its own port which allows you to enter the ship, size depending on the location / importance of the island, but only Llevigar and Nemract would have the upgrading-menu available.
You can sail within a "Tier-group" at the 60-second rate, LLevigar, like Nemract, would have access to all islands, while the other ports can only travel within their respective group.

I already made a post about this if Ascended Kitten wants to add it she can use my example or use her own/ somebody else's.

 

I think wynncraft should hold back on something like this because I believe that minecraft is coming out with a ship update soon that is relative to this, except ships are larger and faster than the normal boats in minecraft, great suggestion though.

Well there's two problems with this idea.
1) There is no way of knowing that Minecraft will come out with a boat update unless your were told by an official. I personally do not they will come up with a boat update soon since there are already boats and Minecraft is usually about adding new things. Usually if they edit something that is the sole purpose of the update(PvP Update). And a Boat Update I just don't see coming in the future.

2) If Minecraft did add new ships WynnCraft would still have to add some plugins like the docks, piracy, guild wars, etc. That said it would be easier for WynnCraft just to make their own boats so it can revolve perfectly around WynnCraft

In Gavel, behind Cinfras, is Letvus Airbase. After completing a certain quest, you eventually are able to travel between Detlas-Cinfras via airship. (It's just a few second wait and automatic teleport, nothing like AscendedKitten's ship idea)

 

This is a really good one, idk why I didnt check it before. Travelling in ships still takes some minutes, but at least there would be no longer "lost in the ocean" comments. I also like the random pirates xD

I've got two bones to pick though - first off, it'd be the Port of Llevigar, not the Gavel Gates. Second off, you forgot about the Jofash Docks.

Also, would it be possible for shipyards with Head Ship Constructors (My suggestion for the name of the NPC of the Shipyard) to be located in the Port of Llevigar, the Jofash Docks, and Selchar in addition to the Port of Nemract?

On a third note, could we have a 10% increased chance of pirate attacks if you head to Pirate Island?
