Game Design Shinesting Scorpion Is Ridiculously Rare

For those who don’t know, the shinesting scorpion can spawn from killing shifting sandpiles, and it drops its tail, which can be used to buy a necklace from the Almuj glassblowing merchant.

The problem with it is, it’s waaay too rare. I’ve spent many afternoons trying to find it, and giving up. Everybody I’ve talked to about it said they tried and never found it either. From what I’ve heard, it doesn’t even have a guaranteed chance of dropping the tail, which is truly depressing.

I think it should be made a little more common, especially considering how lower-levels trying to find it will probably become outleveled when grinding the sandpiles. I know the necklace is very good for its level, and the scorpion is supposed to be rare, but spending hours upon hours to get it is just not worth it.

Stay in one spot in the desert and let mobs accumulate. One WILL appear. It has a 30% chance to drop its tail, but considering it also drops 48-128 emeralds...it's meant to be a rare find, just like the Speedy Scarab or the Sandy Scarab Hiding In Sand. But, the Scarab Pit is a very reliable place to find them, especially.
