Game Design Seaskipping Problems

    The seaskipper is perhaps one of my favourite NPCs in Wynn and is one of the most useful features. However, the changes granted to him in 1.20 have a few flaws that I hope are improved on

    1: River Logic
    This is a very minor problem, and should only be added if any GMS or builders have some spare time to do it, but when going between Nemract and Nesaak it would make more sense to see the boat on the river. I already made a suggestion thread on this, though, and it goes into better detail than I did here

    2: Bell ringing

    I always liked to spam the bell on the Seaskipper whenever it appeared, but it works a lot differently now. It looks much better, but you can only use it like once or twice per journey and it has a weird hitbox. I would like the timing on its usage to be put back to what it was before, or for the bell's hitbox to be made larger depending on which is the problem

    3: Zhight island pain
    Zhight island is a quest that requires you to go to many islands and is awful. The seaskipper changes made it worse. Just before these changes had come out, I found a new and easy way to do the quest: to buy every boat pass i needed prior to starting, and then rushing around. This strategy cut out the middle men that are Nemract, Selchar and Llevigar and really made the quest a lot less emerald-consuming. However, this new update forces these middle men back into the equation and the end result is not very cheap. You can no longer use any boat pass on any seaskipper boat, but only the ones offered in the GUI. My solution? Add boat pass merchants back to Nemract, Selchar and Llevigar and make it so that the boat's GUI offers you the option to use a boat pass instead.
