World Scroll Menu - Never Use 10 Inventory Slots For Scrolls Again! 200+ Supporters!

The player carries around a book with over 100 pages in it with quests that the player doesn't even know they have to do yet...

 

Its a quest book. We actually write down our objectives in it ourselves. Don't you see the dialogue saying "You've probably written it down in your book!" or "I've written it in your book." Lore-wise, the player does actually carry a book, but the quests we haven't started we don't actually know about, neither do the ones we can do but haven't started yet. Think of it as an instinct to know where trouble or needed help is, or coincidence.

Didn't think of that. Anyways, going back to what we were initially talking about: scrolls and book pages. Why can't the player carry around a book for his scrolls if the player can carry around a book for his objectives?

 

Because the book is an actual book, with pages made for books, and we write in the book, and use the book itself. The book is blank, and we use to write in. Writing in the book is normal. "book" count = 7
Scrolls are large pieces of papyrus, and in no way would they fit in a book. What sense does it make to put large pages in a book that will stick out and get crumpled and ripped, only to rip it out.

Books are for writing and reading, not for ripping out pages, unless it is a spiral, which isn't a thing in Wynn's time.

 

Not everything is used as intended, which is why a lot of things have been discovered by accident.

I can't make it anymore obvious. Again, a scroll is a large piece of papyrus. That scroll is just paper because their is no actual scroll in minecraft. The thing is actually kinda big, bigger than a book. Since Wynncraft is an RPG, you have to take Lore and real life facts into account. Scrolls aren't the size of your hand.

Edit: You're making it really difficult because you simply restate the same thing over and over without a sufficient argument.

 

I apologize that I'm making this difficult. The book wasn't even my original idea, I just thought a book would fit the rpg theme better than a menu, so I supported and defended the idea. But after you've explained what you've explained, I feel that a menu would be better fitting than a book.

I dont like having less hotbar space tho :/

 

If it was movable, then people would find ways to be able to throw it out (like the full inventory, drop quest item method).

I understand your point now, but to be honest I feel that if you had explained this in your original post this wouldn't have happened, but it's all over now.

THIS IS NEEDED BECAUSE-- whoops caps-- scrolls like take up half of my inventory and it makes me wanna eat a couch.
