Guide Running The Forgery For A Mythic Isn't Worth It.

Summary of everything, the forgery chest is a waste of time and money wich is not worth doing cuz you dont get anything out of it, other than dissapointments and crushed hopes that there would be something good coming from this... thing, actually worthless adition, unless of course you get a mythic with an entire 1% chance every time this thing rips you out of your soul, and pockets

also you forgot the amount of bugs and glitches corrupted dungeons have, one example being infested pit hanging man not letting you pass (and you have to /kill) or even the dungeon boss not spawning/not tp you out after dungeon boss die

seconded.

the cost is bettered by joining into dungeon bombed servers. the difficulty in doing this is a separate discussion, but personally i haven't actually found this problematic. also, with untradable items being sellable, you could make some of the cost back by redeeming and blacksmithing using the tokens from the runs. it's not much, but coupled with the runes it's not as bad as was initially made out.

i disbelieve the latter section. avia feathers (and by extension, uth/tol runes) are much easier to obtain, so i don't think it's fair to say that every key doubles its price when repaired.

 

AFK grinding in the rules is using thorns sets and the like. I think this guy just means afking at unicorn spawn nodes and killing them when they spawn. They're peaceful mobs so you can't even use thorns against them

of course, it's not entirely true to always just save your keys and sell them- it's not that hard to leech dbombs or get the keys yourself, or probably a combination of the two. some other fun facts from the other thread include: 50% chance to get a mythic in 69 runs, but 99.99% chance is about 917 runs...

I don't think you understand how that rule works, the rule doesn't affect sitting in one place and waiting for a mob to spawn, it affects people using throns/reflection/health regen to literally leave your cpu and gain a shitton of xp. If you're going to accuse someone of cheating make sure you know what the rule means please.

 

that's my bad. i'd make an argument that it's still not in the spirit of the rule to do so; if you still care to discuss this then i'm happy for this to be taken either to pm or to the rules clarification thread.
