isnt that good. I can add 2 powder 6s to match that. And did I mention I still have slots on my armour? Its endless how OP powders can get!

These are pretty much just powders...

 

I am 99% sure that that's not the why they're in the pack. If you would actually read the thread I posted here, you would notice that people repost something Salted said. It goes something like "Everything we didn't want people to figure out was removed from the resource pack." By this knowledge, if they knew they were going to not use the runes, they would've removed it. You may also notice that although several GMs respond to the thread, none of them say that it's for a broken quest, like was done with the tablet mystery.

Wynncraft needs to be harder, not easier, tbh, and they should work on adding more accessories before adding a new type.

The idea is okay, but it'd require significant counter-balancing, and in generally just seems kind of counterproductive.

Powders are going to exist soon that will really do the exact same thing as this, so I just honestly don't get the point of adding this in.

You were probably looking at the wrong thread, because the GMs have in fact confirmed the rune textures are part of a scrapped quest.

 

If you guys are referring to the weird stone circle things with the glowing letters and the weird names, then you guys are dead wrong. No one on the content team really knows what's up with those, so if they're ever going to have a use we don't know it yet. The only stone rune thingies that are from a scrapped quest are the First Stone Tablet and Third Stone Tablet (there was a Second Stone Tablet obtained through the scrapped quest itself but was unobtainable in-game). Those are the items you guys are getting confused with here.

Yes. The First Stone Tablet and the Third Stone Tablet were both dropped by mobs that were part of a scrapped quest. While the quest was removed, the mobs were not and were in-game for a few days. People found the useless tablets and thought they were part of some crazy conspiracy hunt and that the symbols on them were part of a crazy code. Turns out they were just junk now that the quest was removed. I imagine people eventually interpreted "The stone tablets are part of a scrapped quest" as "The stone rune tablet texture thingies were part of a scrapped quest"

 

I only found the Third Stone Tablet.... rip. :c

 

Sadly, runes are being used for dungeons in the Gameplay update.

And you're probably about to say to me, "what about the other 4 runes?"

They could be used for higher/lower level dungeons, but if they were used to enhance items, there simply wouldn't be enough runes to cover the elements, as there are only 4 if you use the 1 for the dungeon.
