Game Design Return Unided Item To Pre Gavel

So on this thread discussing the new bug for viewing what unided items and discussing how we as a community can prevent it's abuse. And then motoki came on and mentioned doing this.

As to prevent this glitch that somehow always finds its way into the game, all unided items will have their name shown, just are unusable/equipable until identified; just like or similar to pre-gavel.

Pros:
+One less reoccuring glitch
+Seller Honesty
+Harder to Scam players with unided goods

Cons:
-Coding, which is used for other more pressing matters.
-Rework on all modpacks with an item name display (Wynn Expansion, Wynn Enhanced, etc.) possibly.

 

I want to say pre gavel unid'd items were still useable

 

They were, but with how big stats are nowadays i think it would be better if they were unusable until identified.
