World Resource Pack Colorblind Mode [100+ Supporters]

Why not have the opportunity to change your RP to one that shows the first (or first 2) letter(s) of a color on each block.
Tadaa. Otherwise, you would have to make different RPs for all kinds of Color blind people.

 

Interestingly, this was actually brought up a good few months ago when that particular puzzle was being tested. :D
Nothing came of it, though :(

 

I don't know, to be honest. It's not beyond the realms of possibility!

Hey just out of curiosity would it be possible to set up a shaders pack that compensates for colorblindness? I've found a shaders pack that simulates colorblindness for non-colorblind people, but I don't think that will be of much help.

I think this is great idea.
It would help out allot of people.

And idea of wool heaving a brown,blue.. etc. text on is not bad idea.
It's the simplest thing they could do.
Ik you don't wan to ruin wynn experience but if they add toggle to it
it would be oke.

You would use 1 texture pack for puzzles and other for playing

 

You could get WAILA, it's a good mod to tell you what you're looking at. You could use it for puzzles.

 

Maybe put a black B for blue, Y for yellow, and R for red, and G for green for people who can't see like that. To remove the confusion colors with letters such as Brown that start with B would get a Br in the square.

 

I'm bumping for a good reason -

Me and Kuroi were playing on the Novelty Modded server, and we were talking about a portal to somebody who asked. We said it was the portal at spawn that was blue-black. But the portal was purple-black. You can see where this can be a problem in the Heart of Llevigar, where people could've mistakened the Purple for blue in the Wire Puzzle.


I support after seeing how it can be a problem.

 

Im red-green colour blind and i just get my friends to help me, but if u have no friends this idea is pretty good

 

I feel ur pain ;-; my friends find me annoying when they are in wynn and in in gavel and im like: halp! Then they get pissed. I get what u mean this would help me alot 2 i don't understand alot in this dumb recourse pack

 

Maby not a menu that asks which type of color blind but just a pack that says what it is example red wool is white and has black letters with RED on it

Is the background of your profile picture a color that you would distinguish differently? (The background color for me is green)

 

I guess I kinda got mixed up on your wording, but you said you were red-green colorblind.
So are you saying that a certain color basically switches with another color? (I don't understand how this works)
Just curious, I'm not trying to sound like a jackass

 

I personally think that updating to add this would be quite simple. I even believe the community would edit the resourcepack to make a colorblind version if they had access.
