General Remove Blood.

i say instead they just remove blood from things such as swarms that would make them bearable

i believe that there is a setting in your particles that you can turn off but you have to use optifine which you should be doing because of your PCs state

 

my computer is not the best i'm still pretty sure its just a lunchbox witch cables attached but i dont have any problems with blood but that may be the case because i have my setting low enough that it doesent overheat when there are many mobs or players(or both).

 

Blood doesn't lag me at all.

how about we just prevent arrow storm from creating thousands of blood particles and limit it to 1 particle every 2 seconds per enemy or something

 

I see a lot of people that don't really know what they're talking about...

First off, the /toggle blood only really works if you are alone. For it to work properly all players in a big range of blocks need to have this turned off.

Secondly, decreasing particles to "Minimal" in the settings only removes non-block particles and as blood is a breaking redstone block, this won't do anything to you

So, currently there is nothing you can do about this...

 

^^all he can do is dedicate more ram or reduce his settings if he isnt going to upgrade from his toaster.

 

For me the amount of blood seems just fine.... It would seem odd if the enemy was just sporadically bleeding after being hit by a hundred arrows...

i have 10gb dedicated to m and a 3000$ pc cad and my game still freezes

Than I don't know what you're doing but my 1200€ PC seems to survive qira fight with atleast 3 constant arrow storms on over 200 fps with 4gb dedicated RAM...

What graphics card do you use?

 

AMD 490 irc (ill get specs later if you want) but since then I figured out that shaders were fucking up with it (can normally run w/ shaders at 70fps) so disabling them makes it run fine. If you have a less intensive PC or it doesn't have much free RAM or processing power I could see it freeze.

 

I think that if you're planning to use shaders you should consider the consequences first as they stomp on your fps like crazy...

What even is your computer, I only have 1gb of ram dedicated to mc and my pc only cost $500, and it runs perfectly fine.

 

When you type /toggle blood, it doesn't immediately do it. Usually I log out, then log back in or type /class.

 

right afterwards i said shaders was fuckin up with the particles
