This sounds like and EPIC idea. With a bit of help, I think this could actually be content worthy stuff. 10/10 right here!! Great job!!

Although raids sound like a good idea,
"the end of corruption" isn't fitting the Wynncraft-storyline, and
is just too straight in my opinion

I'm going to be honest here.

    (Insert Lose Yourself beat here)

This content is recycled. I don't care if you aren't aware. I don't care if you start to pull at your hair. Knees weak, arms-

This has been suggested before. The issue with these is the fact that anyone can join at any time. It's not a "ONG GAIS LETS GET IN THE LUBLIC WAID CUE AND GO DESTROY ONYXIA OMG KEKEKKE" type of game. Wynncraft doesn't function in the same style of as MMOs with raids. Wynncraft doesn't have loading screens or cues.

    Player 1 enters the raid.
Player 1 gets 4 rooms in.
    Player 2 enters the raid.
    Player 1 finishes the raid.
Player 2 has to wait for raid timers to refresh the content.

It isn't streamlines and it wouldn't be all that fun. Raids in Wynncraft would be "SPELLS EVERYWHERE GUYS! MAGES HEAL. MAGES HEAL." That isn't where we are going.

Besides, this style of PvE isn't profitable for time-to-reward.

I know it is recycled content that has been posted thousands of times, but it would add more to Wynn's endgame. I know this probably won't be in the game for some time (if it even is considered by the DevTeam) but what else would you do once you reach maxlevel? I know Gavel is coming to increase the cap, but what happens then?

I tried to design this raid so that players would have to try actual tactics. For example, maybe you could have tanky warriors in front, mages healing them, archers dealing damage from behind them, and assassins focusing on the bosses and crowd control. So that we could get away from the OMG SPELLS MAGES GO FUCKING HEAL ME OMFG Y U NO HEAL ME I DIED meta thing.

Just my two cents to your two cents

REALLY good so far. I like the concept. But what other locations are you thinking of. Cuz like, the roots of corruption are already a place that (I think?) has some reason to be there. But I think (for this example) that the CoW was supposed to be the big bad guy of corruption. But Perhaps Prince of corruption? Also, I would love to see an idea for this in the Abandoned Mines!

First, I like to think that the CoW was the general of the corruption.

NINJA EDIT: I think Volcano Islands or the Dead Island would be other good nominees instead of Roots of Corruption.

Also, Dern's gate is a raid?! (what I was implying was that it is generally known that Dern is near the Abandoned Mines, so I thought Dern immediately when you mentioned the Mines)

Trust me, as a guy who spent way too much of my time focused on Dern, I see why you think that. Heck, I did at first.

But I have grown to realize that anything you think you know can be very very wrong...

I suggested this a while ago and also got inspiration from Destiny. However, normal raids in other MMOs have much, much more than 6 players. So maybe later raids could have 8 people, 10, 12, so on...

    bump

You make a good point. After reading a post that stated something about bringing 20+ people (not 20 yrs+, but as in body count) to fight one of the bigger bosses in Gavel, I think that the number should be bigger. However, one of the problems with that, is that Wynncraft's Worlds are limited to about 60 people per world (correct me if im wrong) so bringing in 20, or even 10-15 people just to do one activity, it would be hard to get people to do a raid together, then being able to find a world that has enough open spaces.

A possible solution to that is to introduce Raid Servers (similar to how war servers work, from guild wars), where if you invite people to a party and have them stand in the same general area, the entire party would be teleported to a Raid Server, even if they were spread out among different worlds. Theoretically, this would reduce lag making the party's time a bit easier, but also putting more strain on whoever's hosting Wynncraft's servers.

This seems like a good idea, and teamwork is something that I think would greatly benefit this game.

This OP Strength potion, couldn't people just take it out of the arena and use it against other bosses to help them?

It might be possible, but a command could be put in to remove any Strength potions after the boss has been killed. However, one of the bugs that might occur with this command, is removing the wrong item, which would be really bad for the player, as well as the DevTeam/Jumla for overlooking the bug.

    But thanks for the input!

Oops. I'll look into it. It might be related to the PSN Network being down a few days ago, so I'll ask Sony about it also.

The non-sarcastic comment: Just read the post.

Yup. I saw a post on here earlier that said that the effort-to-reward thing wasn't worth it, so I thought, why not buff the amount of LE? However, as most economies go, inflation is a thing. If you look at some of the prices for the things that merchants sell at Jellybord (Gelibord lol) or Olux, you'll see that most of it costs more then what we used to see in Wynn (especially the potions). Another thing that I noticed, was that certain mobs drop at least 4-6 emeralds upon kill, and those aren't bosses. The Devs might had purposely done that to counter the higher prices, which I understand.

While the suggestion isn't about fixing the economy, one way to fix inflation a bit, is by throwing away LE. But I don't think people like Jimmylism, Danieldan (was that his name? i forgot) and the rest of the big names of the Trading Market would throw away the LE that they've earned.

Theoretically, if this suggestion were to be considered, I figured that it might've been when having at least 10 LE is common. But yeah, I'll lower the LE reward

I can see it already Shout:Paying 3 stacks of le for a team to carry me through the raid i will pay a extra stack if i got a full set of loot need to have completed the raid and easily carry me
    ________________________________
but on a serious note I like the idea but with soul points it really limits how much you can do in other mmo type games you can try the raid boss over and over for hours so you could complete the boss but in wynncraft after 6 or 7 deaths your done for a few hours halting all progression you could have made in that span of time.
