Poison in PVP and PVE Even though Wynncraft is not balanced around pvp it is still something that should at least be acknowledged. Poison in pvp is absolutely devastating a small hit is turned into huge guaranteed damage making small and spammy spells extremely lethal especially when players have a much more limited heathpool than mobs. Combine this will reflection and thorns and you have a nearly unbeatable monster. However, it is also important to acknowledge that poison is fairly mediocre in pve so nerfing it would make it even more weak in pve where it already is balanced. The main question is how to balance poison in pvp without hurting its ability pve wise. Solution Poison should be curable by potion healing or by mage heals. Part of the reason why poison is so deadly in pvp is that it is unavoidable even if you can dodge all attacks you still will get poisoned if they have reflection, unless you are a mage then it is certain death. If potions were able to cure the poison status effect than its lethality against players would be reduced to a more reasonable level. Potions won't make the player immune to poison but just cure the effect when they first drink the potion. The intent for this is to not make poison completely useless in pvp. Right after a player drinks a potion they still can be hit by poison again right after healing and the potion cool down is still there making a time where they will take damage before they can cure themselves again. Adding this to mage may be too strong since there is no heal cooldown but it does make sense considering mages already cure other negative status effects.
