That's not what I meant at all. Please try not to misconstrue what I'm trying to convey. I meant that permanently changing the price to a lower one is unfair. Temporary changes such as in the case of sales are completely fine as they do return to their original prices. Unless you take the Hypixel route of permanently having a "Sale" then I do not see an issue with sales. Heck, most people generally wait for sales to purchases items and ranks.

My point was that you shouldn't change the price point because it is unfair for the players who purchased that product before the fact. To give you an example (although it may not be 100% the same), you are banned for a particular reason but someone who committed the same exact misdeed as you is not banned because the rule was "changed".

 

Products can change their price anytime. If no one lowered their prices because it was “unfair” to those who bought it at the original price, everyone would be worse off. Most people don’t buy pets because they are too overpriced, and there’s nothing people can do about it if they already bought pets. And it’s the owners store, so they can raise or lower the prices as much as the please. They already lowered the price for Hero and it was fine.

Banning people is a completely different matter. More rules have been added to the game, and as far as I’m aware they haven’t removed any rules. Plus you can always appeal your ban and if you get permanent ban that means you knowingly violated the rules and disregarded your first warning.

 

I won't debate this with you any further, but you should understand that what I'm talking about is merely my side of a point. I personally would feel bummed if I buy a product one day only to figure out that it became much cheaper a few days after my purchase. It was my opinion and let's leave it at that.

To add to this, the ban example is again just an example. It wasn't a completely correct, I even said that, but it was meant to help convey my point (nothing more). Please don't try to over analyse every little thing I say to fit your argument.

 

The store managers would need to make an announcement that the prices will be lowered, quite some time before they do. If you were to buy a pet within this time and then complain about the price changing after a few days, it would be the players own fault for not paying attention to the news.

Although you also mentioned in your first message how it's more like "donating" rather than acquiring a certain product. I already said this to Seaofpoison, but you may have missed it, my main point is that with pets over the price of VIP (which is a better product), people aren't willing to buy a pet for a donations sake, they would buy VIP for their benefit. So having a pet over a rank price isn't really going to help the owners out in any big way if no one is interested in them. (And no, this is not a thread for me to ask for a lower price because I cannot afford it. You're getting kinda mixed up here)
