"Plus, more inventory space won't always help as you'll fill it just as fast. Not much will change." - Elaboratate please

What he's saying is that sure, increasing inventory space will help, but it will not solve the fundamental issue re. the new update: too many ingredients and items and the like. Unless you approach the comically infinite levels of inventory, there will always be people asking for your inventory to be larger, as they will inevitably fill it up during a massive resource grind or loot run.

Imo the better solution would be to have a "special inventory" for these items where only crafting materials and raw ingredients can be placed in, aka an ingredients pouch. This pouch can be "infinite" in a sense, but (at least for raw materials) is limited by your maximum weight capacity. It can still have the capacity requirements based on gathering levels, but instead of placing these ingredients into your normal inventory to crowd out non-crafting goods, they are hidden away. You get more inventory space, but it doesn't interfere with any other parts of the game (aside from gathering tools, not sure how you would help with those. Perhaps left hand since we are on 1.9+?) and it is probably the best compromise I can think of.

Yes, that sounds like a very good idea, actually. I very much like the idea of that, well done!

Personally, I just think the jewelry slots and (even more so) the three hotbar slots that are forced to have specific items are a bit annoying. Like, I'll have tons of stuff I wanna keep, I find one more thing and I don't feel like throwing anything out, and those three slots just bug me knowing I could put the new item there if those menu items weren't in the way. Maybe they could just move soul points to the health/mana/compass area and merge the quest book and player stats menu compass?

Regardless, I don't think it's a general "not having enough space to hold items in general" issue, it's more of a "keep having to go back to the bank so damn often" issue, at least for me.

Yes, I agree I should have put more detail into this. Sorry about that.
That's why I created the incredibly controversial infinite inventory space suggestion

Tbh, I'm kinda annoyed at how some players think that "you already have enough bank pages" is an enough solution to the problem.

In the first place, I can confidently say that "we don't have enough bank pages" and it's because of how expensive pages from 14-21. And even if there were enough bank pages, it doesn't solve the problem.
The problem here is that "going to the bank every time your inventory filled with items" (someone said it above) it's an issue similar to the materials weight which you need to go to the bank very often.
I'm not saying that adding infinite inventory is a good solution, it will ruin a lot of other things by the way it isn't controversial. I just want to say that even making another slot in the inventory is helpful for a lot of players and I really mean it. Personally, I would like some kind of ingredients/materials/emeralds bag.

By the way, there is 21 pages.
    Here is the prices:

Like I (and ParkourTNT) said, it's not a general "amount of stuff" issue, it's the fact that you have to keep going to the bank so often. Even if banks were infinite, the issue would remain.

Ooo, an emerald bag or something at least would be neat, even if it was limited to like, 9 slots maybe, it would be a big help. Emeralds are often a big contribution to the "not wanting to throw stuff away" issue for me.

I remember someone making a thread about materials/emeralds bag, but for some reasons he got banned. Here is the thread.

Yeah I agree with what most of that guy said in his reply to the criticism, specifically "not enough carry space" and "emerald bags can only carry stacks of emeralds, not blocks or liquids."

Nope, because he often disagreed with staff decisions involving the game and got banned. Something along those lines but correct me if I’m wrong. In my opinion, he shouldn’t have gotten banned.

Saying flat out "more inventory space" is something people will usually not agree on and say banks and whatever whatever.

To fix this small issue imo the best thing is making a material bag of 5 slots (hopper gui) to store unrefined materials and stuff

Ingredients are basically the new junk items that make you no money so you can just throw them out unless you're collecting them so yeah
