New Refining And Gathering Method

Note that now you can carry a lot of materials at once, meaning that it’s okay to put only a few refineries in the world. The suggestion also suggest to make refining faster than before (instant maybe).

With the current system, the chose of refining in a later date became impossible, you’ll need to chose what to refine from the start. It can also be a bit of a burden to the inventory and the bank, it’s more organized to have one unprocessed material instead of three different tiers.

 

The problem stands within the fact that gathering raw materials is no longer possible. A lot of the time I know I need a material but don’t know what I will want to make out of it, so will convert it later. The problem here is minor but obvious.

Also if people want to sell raw materials so that more people have them available, that is also no longer an option.

I don’t really see it changing anytime soon. I like the current system better than the beta one, but it’s still pretty bad overall.

There’s a reason why I stopped making rants against professions; they’re purposely designed the way they are so Wynncraft can get revenue from bombs. Even the prof try hards rely on them. So as long as that doesn’t change professions aren’t going to either. There’s always going to be some huge downside that makes it as grindy as before.

 

The change I suggested doesn't affect the profitability of bombs in any way. Like literally isn't even closely related. Also these changes aren't to make it less grindy, it's mainly just to give you the option of refining after the fact, so you save inventory space as you grind, so that you could sell raw materials if you wish, and so that you could decide what to use the materials for after you harvest them.
