I'm going to start this thread by saying I haven't done a ton of the hero beta, so I'm not familiar with any changes with tools or whatever... What I DO know about the update is that now when you harvest a resource, it will immediately be refined into its resource based on whether you right-click or left-click. Due to this, there's no longer carry weight or need to refine elsewhere, so most refineries were removed if I recall correctly. This blows. Here's what I think should have been done. Changes (all of these are being suggested. change #1 refers to starting with a base of the previous system and then adding #2 and #3 on top of that): 1. Revert back to the pre-update system (for refining only, not tool durability and such) 2. Remove carry weight 3. Make refineries faster (instantaneous perhaps) That's literally it. Here's why I feel this is better 1. Keeping refining at refineries in the game provides a nice sense of immersion and ambiance in the world. 2. When harvesting resources you might not know what you want immediately. You may prefer to keep it in its base form to sell to someone who DOES know what they want, or you might just not be sure what you want to craft with it yet. 3. Carry capacity being removed would allow people to refine a ton of materials at a time, so I feel it should be a bit faster. I don't particularly think anyone gets any enjoyment out of clicking once, then waiting for your materials to refine. Vote your opinion in the poll, thanks.
