How long will it take for you to get this through your head? A GM taking your idea and making it something good does not make it a good suggestion. A GM should not have to make your suggestion better. GMs should not even be involved with suggestions. This section was not made to be an idea dump for GMs. It was made to be a place where you can create your own feature and suggest it.

The few times GMs have taken ideas from this section does not mean that that is it's purpose.

It's still not a dump for GMs. They hardly take ideas from here, because most of them are pure shit. Can we change that? Yes. Perhaps we can't stop people from making bad suggestions, but we sure as hell can make them all better and get discourage bad ones.

The reason hardly any suggestions are taken as is is because, once again, most of them are just bad. There's about as many suggestions that have been taken as they were originally made as have been adapted. The GMs aren't hopeless when it comes to ideas.

This is a defeatist and snowflake-in-a-snowstorm attitude.

 

Well then, let's read those that are "pure shit"
More than or close to a bit more than half are small, but good ideas.
"While a class is being deleted, change the icon."
"Lock Threads"
"Item Locks"
Sure, a lot of these may be small and tedious, but it's the little things that make the server great.
And yes, I know there are more important things to attend to, like "PLEASE FIX GUILDS"
But it requires a full rewrite, and it might be better to just switch on and off from it to less important suggestions.
EDIT: were ignoring all the shitposts and threads made by people who don't even partially understand how intricate wynn is.

 

You've listed three good ideas. Out of over 4,000. There are more, but the vast majority are bad. The ratio is not even close to 50-50. Small ideas tend to be better just because they are simple features without too many intricacies, meaning they have less ways in which they can go wrong. Even then, those small but good threads are full features, not only ideas. All that's left is to implement them, nothing else.

I myself prefer the simpler suggestions. They're full-on features and still manage to be nice and concise.

As for ignoring "shitposts," that's just cheating. You can't simply say "oh most Xs are good, excluding all the ones that are bad."

Now really, this is getting a bit off topic. If you'd like to continue, PM me. Otherwise, I'd like to just be done with this suggestion, unless the OP decides to make some changes or give some real reasons as to why 150 should be a thing.

I agree with this, but for wider ones, you just have to have an open mind. Things may be a bit broken or such, which someone else might tweak on

Bad suggestions are still suggestions.

He's asked for that and provided no good reasoning. His one idea for more content will not work in Wynn. As you said, you can't just go up and say "GIMME THIS" blindly. Let's us two just be done with this subject at least.

Now, to the OP; what if I told you that we don't need a higher level cap for more content? We're already missing enough endgame content at this point. Increasing the level cap now would only make the lack of content worse than before. Why not just wait for all the content that's already coming before you ask for things that will only dissatisfy you more?

 

I like your little flamewar you two were having. It was quite enjoyable. Anyway to the OP, there is no need for a level cap increase. having trouble enough to get to 94 if anything I suggest you well suggest quests for the level gap of 90-100.

A suggestion, not an idea. Meaning it's more than a thought, it's something that can be added in to the game effective immediately.

What rift?
As far as I know, Wynncraft does not have an underworld. It has Death's Realm. However, it seems different than the underworld. The underworld (usually) has the river Styx running through it. If you consider Dante's version of Hell as the underworld, then it has 9 levels, one for each deadly sin (for the most part.. I think there are some deviations) and a couple more.
Also.. it's not just the undead that are affecting Wynn. It's the corruption. Undead are just a small part of the corruption. You can even have corrupted apples.
Do I think the player can get rid of the corruption? No (this is all my opinion and speculation, so don't treat it as fact.. so start speculation now!). That would be the same as getting rid of the Light, or the Darkness. Two fundamental forces of the world. For there to be Light, there must be Darkness. They balance each other out. And for there to be Light and Darkness, Corruption must also exist (end speculation).

Ragni is one of the largest cities in Wynn. It was one of two great strongholds that stood up to the corruption for a millennia (the other being Troms).
Detlas is a massive trading hub. It makes sense that after the 50 or so years of peace it would have only gotten bigger and stronger.
Same with Nemract, except it started out poor. It is also Wynn's only port.
This new corruption should have not attacked Maltic. Maltic is a Villager town. The corruption/undead/other monsters do not attack the Villagers. In fact, none of the cities should have been attacked. The population is about half Villager (in every city in Wynn). The corrupted don't attack the cities because of the Villager population.
There should also be more Villagers in Wynn, too. Currently, there is a lot of trade going on between Wynn and Gavel. This would bring more villagers over, seeking wealth. Probably. Villagers are known to be greedy.

You're implying that Nesaak is a powerful town. It's not. It's just a small fishing village. With the tomb of a dead hero nearby.

I don't get it. How are those 'strategic positions?'
Rymek is at the bottom of a mesa. It would be so easy to just camp at the top of the mesa and bombard Rymek with cannonballs. Or something else volatile. It is also close to the 'Coming Soon' sign on the map, which is speculated to be Dern.
Troms is in the middle of the deadliest place in Wynn (also the highest leveled place). The Dernel Jungle (well technically it's the Troms jungle.. but it's super close to the Dernel Jungle).

Okay, I know I'm late on topic. But allow me to clear something up here.
@camocat9 , you did nothing wrong. Well, I can't deny that there's a low chance that your whole story will be added in future. Maybe because CT once mentioned that they already have plans for future contents, but it should never stop players from suggesting ideas like this.
General Suggestions is where you can suggest anything that possibly improves the game, it doesn't matter if they're gameplay mechanic related or story related.
Maybe some people were not used to see lore suggestions in this section. This is just my advice, but people might see it in more of positive perspectives if you post this kind of story in Your Work section. Your story is not bad as well. https://forums.wynncraft.com/forums/your-work.75/
