Game Design Mythics Need Balancing...

Im afraid you are incorrect. Spring does more consistent damage, having at least 10k bombs, where as hive can hit much higher bombs (15-16k) but is slightly inconsistent *meaning that it can hit 7-8ks aswell.

yes, i said just putting in the math and not adding agi/ids/whatever, its still does incredibly high damage for no real drawbacks + the 91 speed, and hive bow 15k-16k? show me that build plz

 

Technically Spring does more damage for one reason:

Damage that is altered or added via powders are converted into other types when spell casting (not visually displayed though). On the other hand, damage that starts out as an element isn't converted.

Thus Powdered Hive Bow only does part Water Damage with spells causing less of its damage to receive buffs from % water damage. Spring is Pure Water Damage so all damage (that isn't a bonus from powders) receives the damage buff from % water.

Thus in the long run, Spring will do more damage, especially when built up. Difference when built up is a lot less than from other elements however, as water builds prioritze the use of %spell over %wayer.

Personally, one of my favorite mythics is Grandmother. I love being able to activate rage by just holding it. However, what doesn't make sense is how it has such a strong drawback (even though the -hpr is good for rage, it still makes you a paper nuke) and no extra bonuses to compensate for that. All Grandmother needs is a damage buff to make up for it.

Then you have Grimtrap. High damage, lifesteal, thorns, poison, and only -1/4ms? It's so broken that it isn't even funny.

I feel that if Selvut had access to even just balance Mythic items, he would be able to fix up many flaws in endgame builds. I mean, the goal is to want people to use many different builds for endgame depending on their preferences, is it not? Unbalanced myhic items prevent this, and I feel that Selvut knows enough about item design to be able to fix this.
