Mythical Crafting - Read Before Criticizing

Although deconstructing Normal items for 1 soul gem might sound all right on the outside, some normal items are as cheap as 2 emeralds, meaning that a Mythic could cost 10,000 emeralds - less than 3 LE. Most Level-75 legendaries cost more than that, as does setting up a Guild. I think that would wreck the economy more than the current expensive Mythics. I don't think you should be able to sell Normal Items(And if possible, store-bought uniques, rares, and legendaries) to the Blacksmith, as this would unintentionally set up an emerald-soul gem exchange rate.

 

This is gonna destroy the economy even more rather then fixing it.
Mythics are supose to be the strongest and rarest weapons in the game, hence the high price. Making mythic this cheap completely ruins the point of an end-game hard to get weapon.

 

@Eldrex I like the idea, but then couldn't people just buy crap level 100 legendarys for nothing and trade them in for potentially amazing mythics?

 

Suggest how to make the idea better.

Will change. Redoing thread so that it looks better and makes more sense.

 

While I think we need to stop the economy from dying, we need money sinks, not item giveouts.
It also conflicts with the lore, and the general idea of rare mmo items overall.
(Why would a NPC be selling something there's supposedly only one of)?

 

@Tantibus can you or a different mod lock this thread? There's a better way to accomplish the general goal of the idea.
