Using legendaries, you would need 125-500 legends. Using rares you would need 333-555 Rares. Using Uniques you would need 1000-1666 uniques. You would need 5000 normal items... And all of them have to be identified.

However if we're talking about a economic stand point. We will have issues with loot bonus gear being worth much more than it is now. Which is just another standpoint to get rich off of. I don't think you can replace something like this without people finding another way to make money. :/

That seems better if you ask me xD

I do consider it quite a bit better. I'm just saying that the economy's mythics would quickly be filled in by loot bonus armor as it would allow you to get a mythic. :/

Honestly I feel as though the purging of all items would be the only way to fix the wynncraft economy as it is now xD. (As well as to add in quite a few more money drains)

Edit: Don't the Rich just stay rich then? (Very few will be able to reach their amounts of le)

Well, you said it yourself earlier. What would they need the money for? They may end up giving it to other players, which isn't bad in my eyes.

Looking at that math, it acutally looks better. however, like what doctorcorgi said, loot items would be so much more valuable. also, averging out the cost to id and and amount of gems it would take, it would be about 4 le per mythic, plus the effort to get the items. that is a bit underpriced, as endgame legendarys typically go for around 5 le.

The rich would stay rich ,but their le would become mostly worthless. What do you buy after you've gotten loot bonus armor and the legends/rares you want for your set? Mythics is the answer right now and I don't think you can fix their damage to the economy this way. I feel as though this produces a worse issue. It devalues emeralds by a huge amount. As I mostly play on wynn to collect more mythics and make builds now. As many other "endgame" players do. This would make it much easier to do so and players who have a ton of le would not have much to look forwards to :/. It seems as though this would kind of delete the endgame aspect of wynncraft currently.

See? What do you save all of your le for now? XD
(Most builds don't cost over a stack of le without the mythic)
(There are exceptions however generally you don't need to spend over a stack)

Well, at the moment loot armor is already valuable, because you have a higher chance of getting a mythic by wearing one... So... It would still have a similar value, if not less. Mythics will become less valuable because you can craft them, and there won't be an extreme craze to get them. Also, as you get items throughout your leveling process you can deconstruct them.

No on will want to sell their random legends and those who do will be extremely rich as these rich players could buy all of the legends they need.

Honestly I just feel as though this idea wouldn't work well without something else backing it. As said earlier it also makes mythics well less interesting. Their lore becomes belittled. I feel as though this could work in a full reset with more money sinks but I'm still iffy on the process of this.

I like the thought of this idea (Obviously remove normals from this) however I like this idea for a new tier of items in between legends and mythics as this creation of mythics just takes away the original feeling of mythic items.

Im taking an economics class right now, and there is this little thing called Supply and demand. If the supply goes up the demand goes down. and vice versa. Mythics are very rare and valuable. So if their supply is low, and the demand for them is high... that's why they're so overpriced, because they are valuable. Making weapons craftable means the supply of them will go up, and their value will go down, along with demand. Less need for trade, less emeralds circulating the market, legendary items being sold for as little as a couple of emerald blocks. When people have more currency verses goods to buy, this is called inflation. Im sorry, but im going for a strong no.

-Make this only applicable for unique and rare items, they are not valuable enough to be sold in stores, nor worthless enough
-Make this class exclusive, maybe unlocking better tier items to scrap as you level up
-Add some sort of emerald exchange, costing emeralds to turn weapons into soul gems
-Change the name soul gems, has nothing to do with soul points, maybe change them to Item or tier gems or something

This idea makes sense, and I like it!

I would try to break up that wall of text, as it is pretty intimidating to read!

I'd also recommend pictures, as I don't clearly understand the GUI....

But this thread is well made, and I like it! +1 Support!

I could've sworn you said you were going to stop nagging this thread.
Was getting to it, I made this thread quickly last night.

Soul gems are just a name. If you have a good idea (item gems and tier gems are not good) feel free to suggest it.
I will make it so deconstructing items costs emeralds.
What do you mean by this?
Yeah I think it should be only unique and rare items (normal too tho?) but, doesn't it seem kind of strange... I mean players can scrap only these, but then they wonder "hey why cant I scrap legends.. this is weird". Maybe it plays into the lore some way? Any ideas?

You're saying this requires 5000 items? you can only hold 30 on your person at a time. it would require around 175 trips back and forth with oak wood bows to get a mythic. Or if it is 500 legends, 18 trips.
