World Mythic Thunder Bow Suggestion!

Thing is in actuality with a build this bow can't get much better? Cancer-Taurus is about as good as it gets as you said, but...

Using Flameshot Hilt, people still get the same damage per hit at the same attack speed despite not having the damage penetration when up against Qira whose element defense is incredibly high. The Damage Penetration on Raw Damage does not mean much in practice in terms of Melee.


In the video, the build does about 2-3k damage per hit against Qira WITHOUT powder specials, skill pots, or Centipede. (replacing it Phoenix Prince Crown) (The occasional 500 damage is from Smoke Bomb.)

As for the defenses,

Cancer Taurus requires an absolutely massive amount of skill points, putting 105 (110 with bow) in Dex and 90 in Str without reaping any of the rewards. (Damage Boosts from Skill Points don't affect the damage and neither do Critical Hits) (Powders don't really boost the damage either)This means that the build only gets 25 to 33 int, 33 Def, and 33 Agility, leading to it being unable to defend itself from most attacks, as opposed to the Flameshot Hilt Melee build which has 100 in Defense (protecting it heavily from neutral hits).

Element Defense-wise the build has

200 (Taurus) + 100 (Prism x2) and -10% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 20% (Prisms) = 300 and 10% = 330 Earth Defense

200 (Cancer) + 225 (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 100 (Prisms) and 10% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 20% (Prisms) = 525 and 30% = 682.5 Thunder Defense

-50 (Taurus) + 100 (Prisms) and -10% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 20% (Prisms) = 50 and 10% = 55 Water Defense

-50 (Taurus) + 225 (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 100 (Prisms) and 10% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 20% (Prisms) = 275 and 30% = 357.5 Fire Defense

-200 (Cancer) + 225 (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 100 (Prisms) and 10% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 20% (Prisms) = 125 and 30% = 162.5 Air Defense

Generally speaking this is average Element Defense wise for most builds that look after their defenses. Due also note that being an Archer mythic, it also has Archer's base defense AKA 60%, which means it takes 40% more damage from attacks.

As for the mobility,

20% (Hephaestus-Forged Greaves) + 8% (Gigabyte) + 15% (Disco) = 43% ws

43% * 1.6 = 68.6% with Escape's Speed Bonus.

This build is hardly more mobile than most melee builds.

Technically this bow is completely different Az and could not replace it due to it being highly Raw Melee oriented.

I guess but as I said, this isn't an Az replacement.

Don't forget this build has pretty good (12.5k) health. (Also, since when was 68% walk speed average for melee? orange's Grim build has 54, the two FH builds have 53 and 40, Jacky's Apoc build has 20, Alka builds have wayyyyy less...)
But alright, maybe the bow isn't OP. In any case, however, this is the only real viable way to build the bow. You can't boost raw melee in any way that actually raises the DPS by much without using Taurus. If you instead focus on building tankiness, you don't get enough DPS, since your damage isn't boosted by anything, so your DPS isn't good at all. Heck, melee Az gets almost as much as, if not more, damage than this (albeit non-piercing, but keep in mind that Az isn't endgame, so an endgame mythic bow in the style of Az would easily outclass this) as well as pretty good rainbow defenses, health, and ws. It's kind of lose-lose here.

 

I meant by comparison to Melee Infidel it isn't mobile. I also said that it was hardly, so while faster not by much, especially since it is slower than Oranges when without Escape.

Give it like -80 spell rather than 50 for base
like ~350 not 700 melee but damage go from 20-~350 or something
and maybe some debuff like - mana regen

 

Ya know with Cancer Taurus it wouldn't be broken.

That dont seems that great its will be good in pvboss and that's it since melee archer hit ones at a time and I know exploding is a thing

Let's say you have 2k bombs. Exactly 2k.
+130 raw spd = 2,130 bombs
2,130 -50% = 1065.25 bombs

 

Actually its

2k -50% =1k

1k+.130k +1.130k

= 1130 bombs

 

so we need 25 mythics and an odd one?
