Guilds Much Higher Guild Creation Requirements + Auto-disband?

Maybe guilds could auto disband after a period of inactivity. Not disband in the way you'd think though. Rather than the guild simply getting deleted, the guild would still exist but all features would be disabled. This includes war, accessing guild bank, guild chat, etc. In order to "revive" it you could talk to the guild master again and pay a good bit of LE to bring it back, and it will be exactly the same as it was before it "disbanded"..

Alternatively, you could delete the guild for real. Guilds that are "disbanded" wouldn't show up on guild leaderboard or anything, and any territories they might somehow own when they disband would be given up. Just a thought.

 

It would probably just be more straight forward to do that.

 

I meant the guild could delete themselves not that it would automatically delete. This would just serve as a small money sink and the guild could also have a chance of coming back. Like guilds that die and come back

 

I gotcha, but the whole point is to free up tag space. If it also does that, then what’s the difference between that and actually deleting the guild? People could always just make a new guild either way.

 

I agree with the tag space thing, point would be saved stats and members, but I agree it is more straightforward to simply delete it now.
