How desperate are you for le? 72 hours hasn't even passed yet and you're already closing your auction thread? You set your own rules. So stick to them!

Auctions have no rules, you can literally do whatever you want witout getting banned, in fact people can take back their bids etc..

You could delete this post and make a new one, but this would probably make everyone mad.

The best thing you can do is sell to the first who bidded the buyout.

 

there is nothing stopping you, you just will lose a lot of face (well much more than you have already lost)

People told u it's 5 stax max, not 6 stax, and 5 stax is exactly wt u r getting right now if you follow through

Even if you set the buyout to 6 stacks at the first place it doesn't mean it will get there. Ofc u can still be greedy and restart the auction and stuff with the cost of your reputation but if u think begging a extra stack is worth it then no one is stopping u

 

He's already in wc1 trying to sell for 6...

I've read the entire thread, and I want you to read our Game and Forum Rules, here. At the very bottom of the page, it says "Use some common sense and enjoy the game!" Changing your buyout is against common sense for any auction, irl, and it's against common sense, here, too. Once you start an auction, you don't go out and try to sell the item(s) in public, outside of the auction, either. Now, I've seen that you stopped your shenanigans, but I'm still going to say this, "No, you won't." You could close this thread, and start another one, with a higher buyout, but you'd probably not be surprised at what would happen to that thread. You may have seller's remorse, and I understand that, but when you get an offer of your buyout, your auction is ENDED. That's what "buyout" means. Also, stop and think of the second half of that rule: this kind of stuff really messes up the enjoyment of the game for everyone that bid, and everyone that was following the auction. Not cool. I'm glad that you figured it out, though. That makes everything so much easier to deal with. And, I'm glad that no one started a flame war over it. Thanks, to you all!
