Mod Team Feedback

All events happen at the perfect time... on the wrong day for me :/

Everyone's talking about not seeing hackers flying about and like yesterday I saw someone flying around the starting valley at damn near lightspeed :P

Ok, now let's go to my fantastic wall of text:

Team

I think that the mod team is great, there are many mods who help and are friendly but there are some who ignore PMs (important PMs) and I think that this is a problem because mods are the ones who have helping privilege and if they don't help why are they mods, to ban people? I also think that there are still some people who haven't done anything to stay being a mod and haven't being demoted yet, or won't be demoted at all...

This is a good feedback and I was going to talk about that too but I'll just add and change some things here:

I think that there are some mods who reply with those robotic answers:

"No refund police"
"Don't do that"

and I think that they shouldn't but the examples that you showed are really big and most people wouldn't read everything, I think that they should give every information but with really simple and small messages!

I know that this is totally random but it's feedback and you're the ones who ban people, so... I think that if players leave the map they shouldn't be banned, a warning and an auto /kill is better, it's a really simple problem, I don't think that bans are the best way of telling people to don't leave the map... (If there's a reason please tell me here)

Community Events

In my opinion community events now are: Event started, 30 minutes later, event is over, in my opinion they should have rounds and finals (Different times) allowing people from many places around the world to participate and two, three events in only one event, like starts with a Scavenger Hunt, when the first player find the final location he/she wins 3 stars, the second one win 2 stars and the third 1, then the final location of the scavenger hunt turns into the starting line of a Horse race (Players who finish the Scavenger Hunt first will leave the area to start the Horse Race first) just one part of the race is visible, when the player reachs the final point in the map, he/she will find a player who will send them a link with another part of the map, and you'll find another player who will send you the final map, then the same first, second and third will happen here [Star System])

i think that mods shouldn't be as strict with friend-to-friend jokes (besides when they are in detlas wc1)

 

More events on different timezones

 

They only get banned if they're doing it to learn information about the map, such as trying to visit Gavel before release. If someone ends up outside by accident and doesn't want to be there we won't ban.

That makes sense, but there are also some events that last for a few hours, and I get pretty tired after 2 hours of doing one and have to take a short break.

I'll be working on that, the next mini-event I want to do will be for Asian timezones.

Well the main thing with Detlas S1 is that new players end up there, they see that you guys are talking about dicks and how so and so is an asshole and they might think that is how the server works.
I don't want the playerbase to act like that, it makes it seem like the community is toxic in a way.

Yeah, we do. But the main thing is that because there's not a lot of people online, there's also not a lot of people to choose from. But we'll try to get others.

We're just worried that it's going to be taken too far, which is why we let them in the VIP section.

I feel like the robotic answers are also us trying to be professional and serious, but I see where you're coming from.
We can try to shift towards that.
Admins are doing their own thing, that's why I exist so I can tell you guys what the Admins think on things so they don't have to.

 

You can recruit someone who can do event too, you shouldn't be the only one to create events, I know that it can be hard to work alone so why don't recruit someone to give you some free time and to give the community what they want, more event ?

(When I read what I just write, I think there is a lot of typo, but I'm too lazy and stupid to find them...)

 

That's the tricky part, it's not a mod's job to do events and there really aren't many that would be enthusiastic about doing it. I'm worried that it won't get done or won't get done how I thought it should be done. I can't really pick someone from the community without giving them mod first and I don't really want to get someone promoted to be my event helper, it would complicate things.

I personally haven't had any bad experiences, and have never seen hackers!
You guys are doing great! Keep up the good work!
And you delete a lot of my posts so you guys are also very good moderators on the forums

 

I have one issue:
You don't follow up with your promises.

Horrible jokes aside:
You guys are honestly the best moderator team ever.
You guys make jokes, interact with the community, and are very good at what you do.

 

They have some actual feedback at the end.

Btw pretz apparently you can move a non VIP thread to VIP plaza

 

I know, VIP plaza just makes it so that non-vips can't see the section.
