NOTE: If you say no, tell me why

While I was exploring, trying to find the meaning if time valley (spoiler: I found out why time is weird there) when I thought to myself:

MINIGAMES

I personally think this would be very fun, but I dont realy know.

How the work: You right click an NPC and he asks:
[1/1] NPC: Do you want to help me "with something"?
Click YES or NO

You can do each of these once a day

Kinda simple.
Here is a list of minigames I have in mind:

Mining Mania
Location: Karoc Quarry
Dialogue: Start Minigame:
[1/1] Karoc Miner: Hello, can you help me mine? Ill pay you 3 emeralds per quartz block.
Say Yes: [1/1] Karoc Miner: Thank you!
Say No: [1/1] Karoc Miner: I knew that the human type wasn't helpful. Ew.
When you say yes, you are givin an iron pickaxe named "Pickaxe", and it has very slow attack speed, and are teleported to a cave that is 50 % quartz, 50% stone. When you hit a quartz block, you get 3 emeralds AND the block turns into stone. After 15 seconds it turns back into quartz. If you leave the cave, you exit the minigame.

Time limit per day: 10 minutes.

Field Frenzy
Location: farm around Ternaves
Dialogue: Start Minigame:
[1/1] Farmer Joe: Hello, I was wondering if you could help these weak hands of mine abit. I was wondering if you could uhmm... you know.... harvest some wheat for me?
Say Yes:
[1/1]Farmer Joe: Thank you very much! Ill pay you 2 emeralds every 3 wheat you give me!
Say no:
[1/1]Farmer Joe: Well... alright. I really dont want to harvest this wheat though, my arms hurt too much.

+ 1 Hoe (Very fast attack speed)
When you say yes, you are teleported to the field and cannot leave unless you leave through the gate, in that case then your hoe is take from you. Mine all the wheat with your hoe, and the wheat respawns every 5 seconds.

Time limit per day: 7.5 minutes

Hiding Chaos
Location: Troms
Dialogue:
[1/1] Jacky: Hi stranger, do you want to help me find Davy? He told me to find him, but I cant!
Say yes:
[1/1] Jacky: Thanks! Here, Ill give you this. Its all I have in my pocket.
Say no
[1/1] Jacky: Owkiee... I guess Ill have to wait another hour or so...

When you say yes, you can not leave troms until you find Davy, who will be either between 2 houses, a tree, or the bush that a guy hid in at Wynn Ex D. Theere are multiple locations so that you cant go back and fourth and profit so easily. Inorder to complete the minigame, find davy, and punch him. Then you get +4 emeralds.

No limit

Fishing (I know, bad name)
Location: Somewhere around the shore (not close to nemrekt)
Dialogue:
[1/1] Fisher Caleb: Hi, wanna help me fish?
Say yes:
[1/1] Fisher Caleb: Great! Ill pay you according to how good your fish is!
Say no:
[1/1] Alright, Ill just keep fishing alone...

Say yes: You get tp'd to a spot and you cant move until you press shift. You are givin a fishing rod and its like regular fishing. However, depending on your catch, you get different amount of emeralds. Here is the rarity and emeralds per fish:
Minnow: 50 % chance, 4 Emeralds
Trout: 35% chance, 8 emeralds.
Salmon: 15 % chance, 12 emeralds.

15 minutes a day

Mountain Climbing
Location: Molten Heights
Dialogue:
[1/1]Old Dwarf: Hello, young soldier. Recently I have lost my hat,
[2/3]Old Dwarf: Wait, no, not my hat, my helmet! Yeah, my helmet!
[3/3]Old Dwarf: So I lost my helmet at the top of this mountain, can you retrieve it for me?
Say Yes:
Old Dwarf: Why thankyou!
Say No:
Well, ok... I guess I have to get it on my own..

You can no longer leave the area, and must climb the mountain (unless you die). It is covered in lava so you wouldnt want to use transport spells, and when you get to the top there is a mob that has 1 health, doesnt move and is named "Old Helmet". Kill it and you are teleported to the bottom and given +2 EB

No limit

So yeah. Those are all I can think of, if you have an idea for this, please suggest it and be sure to share your thoughts

Great idea!
While I think some stuff with the games listed could be changed, the core thought is nice, as adding some kind of mini-activity really would make everything seem more alive.

There should be a time limit and a limit to how much you can play these.

It's a nice suggestion but maybe add ones where you need to compete against other people to win a prize(but only a certain amount of tries each day)

well then there would really be no point for high lvls too do this cuz u can get this amount of emeralds in a few min from grinding

 

But high levels wont be around the coast or around ragni or around Karoc would they

Added a mini game for Molten Hieghts!

 

This is great idea. Really good idea, certain minigames on the wynncraft map.

But I don't want it. Mainly for 2 things.
1.- I like Wynncraft for thespecific type of MMORPG it is. If they added minigames it wouldn't really fit to the server.
2.- It is way too much work for a simpleaddon like this.

Nonetheless, you get my like Sir, great idea.

 

whats with all these people thinking coding is like climbing a mountain?

 

I meant, of course coding is difficult, but for someone like Jumla, with tones of experience, he does that easy. The hard part here is the plugin. It is always limited. You can't put infite shit on your server, it has X capacity. For example, they are redoing all the code to make it a little lighter now.

 

Its not the plugins code thats limited, its the ram thats limited.
