Game Design Maybe Re-balance The Assassin Class?

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh XD you using leictreach makani as well? XD must be tough without mana D: i used to be main thunder water air assassin but lately my focus switched from thunder to water by changing dank channeler to the ephemeral. so now i have 6/4 mana regen on my weathered assassin... not a lot but its more than enough to survive easily XD (air assassin is great though... in general air is bae :p )

 

Huh. People talk about changing the assassin class a lot on these forums, apparently. Guess I'm just another guy who complains about something everyone else agrees is fine.

Eh, I don't know. Again, I see the points you all are making, but something does seem off when this seems to be a reoccurring problem posted about in the forums. I'm just confused, that's all. People are so adamant that the classes are fine as they are.

 

that's because assassin actually requires a tiny bit of skill and not just right right left, right left left, right left left, right left left, boom done

I guess that's a mage burn.

And maybe a burn towards me.

Albeit, assassin can do something similar with Spin Attack spam, smoke bomb, multihit.

 

I recommend getting a Comcentration ring or two; they work wonders for mana regen. Alternatively, you could get two Summa rings, and once you get to level 100, use morph stardust as it gives mana regen. That's an immediate 6/4 mana regen from your armor, and if paired with rewind that becomes 12/4 mana regen, for only 20 intelligence. Alternatively, you can use mana steal items as they tend to be tied more to thunder

If you're not able to do that then the problem may lie in your build, not the class itself. A lot of endgame builds can easily deal over 10k spin attacks, which is more than enough to one or two shot enemy minions

 

Assassin is viable, you're just not using it right. It's INCREDIBLY Viable late game.. (e.g cata/grimtrap builds + flameshot + slider)
