Make Amadel Farming Bannable

ToA floor 6 level 7 is almost as good as Amadel with full neutral dmg.

The thing I don't get is that I asked mods about it, and they said you CAN do it as long as you are NOT ABUSING ANY BUGS. And the Amadel grinders are ABUSING 2 BUGS. So they should be punished. I think it was @motoki1 who told me this, but I want to hear your opinion either way.

Welp first of all I tried grinding in toa but unsuccessful since most of the mobs almost like hive elemental mobs. Toa has been buffed since before thus making it fair for grinders. Amadel has 1 hit/shot mobs.
In terms of multiplier loot it all seems to same to. I think all mobs should drop loot but whether Amadel is bugged or something just fix it by changing boss fight mechanics or making a duplicate code which disperses excess shadow Amadel loot thus making it instantly disappear or you could make it like some of the LI bosses where the silverfish guarding the bosses are nearly unkillable thus forcing to player to constantly try locate the real boss and damage it while the others cannot be damaged but yet cannot harm you as much.

Though I agree that the Amadel grinding should be removed. I remember past times where I would always see people afking with cactus builds in toa which was much more fair than what is happening with Amadel now + cactus builds are nerfed.

And idk how you can abuse in toa..
But I know it has been done before and the mods may know something that we don't and thus saying this, if this is what you meant.

Edit: Just make Amadel lvl 70 mob.
And how to fix the currently broken market, you cant just take mythics from players or making their bad but...just fix the Amadel glitch in a way that people won't bother using it anymore and add new mythics (and leave the old) that can counterpart most of the other mythic out there but with major differences thus making them extremely valuble again. Or you could add the same mythic with different stats like no negatives or better positives thus making all the old ones less...attractable.

 

Another option: Change mythic lvls to 100-110 but lower lvl requirements, then add a code that individually tells most of the lvl 70-100 mobs to drop these 100+lvl mythics and leave Amadel behind.
A similar thing has been done in World of Warcraft and yes I realise its a different game and code.

Try asking the official Minecraft lotr team.
I have played on their servers and every problem they stumbled upon was mostly fixed. I'm sure they could assist our Wynn coders, or just check the mod itself.
And yes ik Wynn is not a mod...but plugins.

 

It's the exact same as Amadel, but the mobs have more health. I tested it with a build with about 1.6k poison to see if it works, and it does. Does take ~15-20 secs to kill 'em, but they're with like 10-15 mobs at the same time all on you, slowly dying, then dropping loot. When I came back after 15 minutes to see if I got xp I got 2% and a Vaward. Please nerf.

Mods are VERY different to plugins, they're hardly limited, while plugins have to work with what vanilla Minecraft provides. Plugins are server-side, which means there can't be any addons to the client that weren't already available in vanilla mc. Mods can (practically) add anything they want. Comparing a mod to a vanilla (it does have a texture pack, but thats besides the point) mmorpg server just doesn't work.

How can this be happening? How can this be okay, how can anyone from the staff team NOT do anything about it.
It's unfair to anyone who played the game fairly, WHY hasn't this been dealt with.
I am trying so hard no to go berserk, because this is yet again another time people abused the game, profited and got away with it.

Part of what makes AFK Amadel grinding so enticing is because it has no cons, no problems with doing it. It needs something to make it not the best choice. One suggestion I would make is removing all thorns/reflection triggers when on a horse. If riding the horse makes you unable to deal damage from thorns and poison, the AFKer needs to deal with the randomness of sliding or pushing around when not active at the screen. If the person wants to gain riches, they might as well be forced to come back to collect it.

EDIT: You could also surround the arena with lava in addition to the horse change to make AFKers deal with accidentally being pushed into it, and add a new mechanic or gimmick to the boss fight (gotta deal with those spiders now, or stay in the middle)

 

AFK sitting should be bannable TBH. however actually attacking them and spending time to try and gather stuff should not.

 

There should just be a rule making afk grinding bannable
