Make Amadel Farming Bannable

Highly agree with this..
Its reached a point where people treat it CASUALLY which is ridiculous.

Eg. "Hey my dood did you grind shadow amadel today"
"Yeah I got 3 mythics"
"Cool, I got 4 yesterday"

People act like they know they can get away with it ,_,

but some of us rather take the easy route

if this is put into place, why can't those who loot run be banned (before the nerf) cause clearly it was extremely broken as you could easily get legendaries in a few seconds
hell you could even say it was more broken than amadel

 

Loot running is meant to provide loot. Shadow Amadel farming is not intended to provide loot, instead as a distraction at a boss fight.

 

hmm maybe because you are literally sucking the fun out of the game by afk grinding
you only have yourself to blame

but we can stop it from being broken even more. better than the alternative (wynn deteriorating to the point where amadel grinding is a MUST to even be relevant in the community, be it in duels ability or wealth. turning wynn into one of those rpgs where you literally leave it on for the whole day, switching servers repeatedly just to find one without an
amadel grinder just so you can do it yourself)

maybe because you needed to press buttons to do so

@orange0404 I actually found 2 mythics in 5K mob kills from frozen heights, then a week later I found another 2. I like this suggestion tho, amadel grinding is shit

That's not effort. Effort is actually having to kill mobs for items, or travel a large portion of an area for numerous chests.

What about grinding legitimately? There's always that. Content doesn't have to be quests or places to level. Content can be areas that's good for farming items or loot running.

It probably would be a whole lot better if you didn't have to abuse two bugs to get items you want.

Loot running is actually made for you to obtain items and gear. Shadow amadel isn't...

So why not make up some challenges for you to do (Complete the game using oak weapons, get to level 100 without drinking a health potion or dying once etc.) instead of trying to cheat? Or, do what a lot of people have done and just quit the game until the next update. If you're bored, stop playing. Then you can come back a while later to discover and re-discover content.

So you want to cheat and exploit features of the game to get your builds instead of grinding the items normally and giving them more value after you work hard to get them? I understand wanting to get a certain build to play with quickly, but it'd make the build much more fun to play if you, y'know, actually had to work for it instead of cheating.

The only 'Fame' you're going to get is INFAME, because you'll be one of the many infamous people banned for cheating and breaking the rules. I'm pretty sure people would be more impressed if you managed to get all the Mythics by loot running and grinding in certain areas than by you saying 'Oh yeah I AFK'd in Shadow Amadel's boss room until the game glitched and gave me all the mythics.'

I don't really think it should be bannable, because the way I see it is that when the lootMultiplier gets fixed, Rule 3 becomes irrelevant despite some players trying to exploit something that's already been patched (emphasis on "trying").

 

Well gonna say this, I have attempted Amadel grinding but instead of being AFK (cause my build is both terrible and have terrible defense) I actually fight them. I cant take a break to grab any of the items so I have to get away from the fight by climbing the sides to get to a point where they cannot reach me. At this point then I go through and take out the items, personally I see this as just grinding, I do this for other places but the reason I am doing this for Amadel is because
A: I refuse to do Loot Runs.
B: Not the most tanky Assassin
C: I don't really use Meta builds so I kinda suck in a fight
D: No Mythics, no problem, just need to find the right legend though...

Once I do get the right build I would happily move off of Amadel (which I do sometimes to change things up) and head somewhere else. Its kinda disappointing though that AFK builds have been made just to do this which I am saddened by. Some people may not see this as wrong and they have every right to think it isn't wrong. Thats how they see it, but we can only personally judge, only the Staff have the final say.

Either way, my opinion is that I personally look down at AFK grinding and the ONLY excuse is my eyes is that you have no time for anything. Even then it is kinda meh on that and you should enjoy the game. I was with this game through many steps and I jumped a few cause I missed those, but Wynn has gotten more and more fun but at the same time, more and more dreadful. CSSTs, Amadel, Loot Running (not much wrong with that I just don't like it), and abusing so much other things. I have used a bug every now and then but so has many others, we shouldn't really look down on people if we have wronged as well.

CCST: Broken in EXP, it's a good way to level up fast (got me out of my level 84-85 ditch) but it isn't very fun if you abuse it. Many people there are rude and unappreciative of those who started it.

Amadel: Broken in itself, people hop onto this bandwagon of a mess and it was originally supposed to be a Challenge to the players. It shows story in each Amadel, yet we just didn't watch the story unfold. But only allow ourselves to be permanently on that one page.

Loot Runs: Kinda broken kinda not, I don't like them but they are a bit busted in terms of an easy way to get Mythics. You really cant fix this but it does require effort to get to the places but not as much as pure grinding.

This is my opinion so please don't kill me over this. I love you all but sometimes it is better to move on from the page and turn it. Who knows? You may find another part of the story you like.

 

And the worsening of the economy while we're waiting on that is going to be fixed.. how?

Bleh, I suppose most people don't care about the moral part of it.

Grinding mobs that are incredibly easy (they're literally meant for 30 levels lower) but still drop end game loot seems pretty stupid too. AFK grinding is worse, sure, but grinding it at all is still bug abuse. The only unintentional thing you mentioned is amadel.

Overpowered? Yes. Bug abuse? Nope!

Overpowered? Yep! Bug abuse? Yep!

It's uh, not really broken? It's not an 'easy way to get mythics', it's luck based.

It's a bit hard to ignore if the game fucks you over if you choose not to abuse bugs.

Until the update releases, making this stuff a bannable offense is the only "fix" we have.
