    Actually, it gives a 50% damage multiplier; it deals exactly half of a normal hit. However, due to its range and controllability, this was necessary to keep it balanced. Even a small boost would put it at a caliber other spells couldn't match.

    Mage has heal. That is op. 1 cast at tier 3 restores 60% of your life. And it heals UNLIMITED AMOUNT of people within short range of the player. And yes, mage has weak damage, but mage focuses on support and crowd control. Mage is Extremely powerful when used right. Also, health steal and regen are going to be nerfed when gavel comes out. Salted confirmed it.
