Lets color the re-color the provinces of Wynn!
Also how about some territory ranges like if a big guild is level 45 it can take territory's from troms and nesaak but can't touch stuff like nemract and detlas
This thread is scaring me. I can almost sense a war stirring up...
That means smaller guilds can't catch up as bigger guilds always level faster. Good idea tho.
With Ezura's idea it would be 15 :P Also, noob guilds (we r a nub guild. 2months old :( )can't defend or take as much. Their offense is probably worse too. Not only that don't you guys own like 12 territories? Surely TNA and Fuq don't want to retake everything back every morning, sometimes it might get boring especially if Gavel comes out.

Also, its pretty much HoL, Fuq and TNA on the no side. (only Counting the guilds that DO war)
It's a good idea, I'm surprised no one had thought of it beforehand. However, allowing every guild only, like, three territories, regardless of what they are, would really lower the whole domination dynamic.
Though I also really like the total map reset after x amount of time.
It has been suggested before, and each time it has been shot down. Ezura is the first one to actually make a thread like this since the forum wipe.
Side Idea: When the map resets, it will be auto defended with the mobs near the areas level. For example, jungle gets lv50-70 and deltas gets 10-30 etc.

I think you are forgetting what this is. Guilds, not clans.
Clans are different where you limit things and put rules up to work around other problems.
Guilds aren't like that. Guilds are bigger, so when there is one guild that is big enough, it takes control over the rest.
Guilds are about power and what they can do for the land, while clans are more small clusters of people doing stuff.
Guild don't have limitations because it doesn't make sense, while clans goes by natural rules because they don't have power.
Because there are so many 'guilds' in wynncraft, it would make more sense to change it to a clan system, since normally there aren't many guilds even in a fantasy world because making one is very difficult.
Clans would make more sense.
I over all love this idea because its unfair to the rest of the community if 1 or 2 guilds owns the entire map that ruins the fun for the smaller guilds.
I have to agree with you. I think guilds shouldnt be about having power and being the best, I think that the purpose of guilds should be to have fun and be with other people. I would much rather see 15 smaller guilds have fun than just 1/2 big ones.

@Drew1011 Ezura's idea is to initially start with 10 possible territories, then every 5 levels another is granted to the guild, at lvl 50 the guild can take over 20 territories.
If yo want to change it so it's fun for smaller guilds too then you should change the system majorly.
The idea with guilds is a novel idea, but in practice, it doesn't work the way you want it.
I would recommend to remove the system and replace it with something more fitting the wishes of people.
honestly guys the limiter really isn't as bad as your making it out to be, 18-20 territory's for the higher level guilds seems pretty damn good to me, and i rather like the idea of actual strategy in guild wars, its rather boring atm.
I think the limit should be increased a bit tho. Like 5 to start 1 every 2 levels.

A negative thing: Strong people can easy create their own guilds and create a huge alliance between them and a top guild, the same 'problem' as today can easy occur again. Just that 10 different guilds are ready to take back if someone attacks their ally.

Excuse me, I have been working really hard with my guild, CreeperIndustries, to get XP and loot so we can claim territories. We finally raid the Maltic Coast and win. We keep this territory for less than ten minutes.
After days of grinding for my guild and contributing emeralds to buy mobs, we have all that effort and all those emeralds wasted on a low-level territory we kept for less than ten minutes. We have raided similar territories and kept then for at most twenty minutes.
Don't think that we don't work hard just because we aren't as powerful as you. There are so many big guilds that have massive amounts of members so someone is almost always active and no one else can take territory. We try our best and work hard grinding mobs for hours nonstop, but in the end it makes no real difference. The big guilds always win, and always will until the amount of territory they can have is restricted.
