World Legendary And Mythic Item Red Text Abilities (53 Supporters)

Make it work like the Borderlands red text system please.

Basically it has a funny little saying related to the item in red which gives it the special effects.

Little example:
Velocity
Super Fast attack speed.
Neutral Damage: 45-85
Thunder Damage: 86-100

Lvl Min: 100
Dex Req: 120

+35% Movement Speed
+3 Attack Speed Tiers
-80% Spell Damage

Faster than you'd think.
[0/3] Slots

The 'Faster than you'd think' vaguely describes the special effect: When the arrows are shot, they move slowly and deal reduced damage, but as they travel they accelerate and gain damage.
It also increases the item's attack speed cap by 2.

 

From super fast attack to sanic attack. Interesting, ill think about it. (im refering to the red text, not the sanic speed)

This would be interesting. Though maybe make the legendary effects a bit weaker? While I think that legendaries could have some sort of effect, legendaries summoning things like Gale's Spirit to help you? That's more powerful than the Mythic abilities you made.

BTW, the examples are just to help get the point across. If this was actually implemented into the game, it would be much more refined and tested than my examples which I made of the top of my head.

April showers bring May flowers

What it does:
As you walk holding the weapon, flowers have a 20% chance of spawning as a block ( which die after leaving the chunk and can only sprout on the various dirts and grass) and another 20% of those flowers follow you and do lots of water damage and do a small amount of lightning damage.

 

Maelstorm
Quite Shocking! Muhahaha

Killing at least ten (most likely gonna be used in swarms of mobs) enemies with at least 7 seconds between
each kill and will activate a powerful arrow storm that will deal 200-280% Thunder damage...

 

stratisformis... just basically makes a archer like assassin, that gets to glide.

Here's a couple of ideas for Powers
Rewind
Turn back the clock.

Upon taking a hit that would kill you, there is a 25% chance you'll instead take no damage and get healed for 10% of your health. This has a 2 minute cooldown.

Chakram
A spinning disc.

When normally attacking a mob, there is a 5% Chance you'll cast Spin Attack for no mana, without it's normal effects (Disease and Vampirism). The next hit after this happens has a 10% Chance, and the hit after that a 20% chance. If any of these hits fail to cast, it will revert back to 5%.

 

I feel like giving mythics would be a good idea, to make them feel more special. I don't know about legendaries, they seem quite common in my opinion to have a special ability. Having to code legendary special abilities might take much longer than only having to code mythics

Mythics only seem so common because the rich traders have full loot bonus gear and grind for hours to get them.

Cluster
Behold the Swarm.

Shoots 20 arrows for a 20th of the bow's base damage each.

Precious
You'll never take it from me!

If on 2 or 1 soul points, gain +50% Melee Damage and +50% Spell Damage, but -10 Intelligence.

Infinity
The pain never ends.

The arrows apply a DOT that lasts until the enemy dies.

Aries
Ramming speed!

Running into things at +80% of your base movement speed deals 75% weapon damage and high knockback.
