Ariodo’s Diary, Log 1
Today I got hired by a company known as WynnExcavation. They seem to be friendly people, although they sometimes appear a bit shifty.
Nonetheless, I was being treated like an intern, the new person who started. Nothing seems too out of the ordinary for starting a job like this.
Hopefully one day, I will be able to join the higher-ups of the branch working at the Jungle.

Ariodo’s Diary, Log 5
Good news - I got a promotion! They gave me my first important task which was to decipher some notes from some former scientists…
Their names are not directly revealed, rather they are known as YY, NN, and MM. Apparently, they went insane from researching some other things that seemed to be related to whatever the higher-ups are doing.
The first one just has scribbles on it and drawings of Mushrooms. I’ll need to look into this further.

Ariodo’s Diary, Log 12
At last, I’ve been able to decipher a whole paragraph of the first notes. It appears to mention something from a strange blue shard, and whether or not it was tied to chaos or order.
However, the next few paragraphs have been nigh-impossible for me to decipher. I only managed to copy a few symbols and even then, they don’t add up.
I asked if I could speak to the secretive ‘YY’, but they declined. Another colleague of mine tried to help as well, yet they were also unable to tell what was what.
NN also had no results I could decipher, and MM is just scribbles. Nothing I can decode. I asked if I could have another task, but they forced me to do it nonetheless.
If I’m lucky, I’ll be able to decipher the one of YY in a few months at best…

Ariodo’s Diary, Log 25
Unbelievable. Simply. Unbelievable. I thought using the animals in the Dernel Jungle with samples of the objects only the higher-ups know the name of could help decode these stupid notes. No, not stupid. Indecipherable.
The Fetishes of the Jungle resulted in no success, it only physically changed it. I might need a more intelligent lifeform for this to successfully work.
I have considered sharing it with my higher-ups, yet I am certain they would refuse, simply because of how idiotic it seems to them.
Luckily, I managed to obtain an intelligent lifeform, an intern working at Jungle Base Delta. It was easy to convince him.
If my predictions are correct, if he can become one thing that YY obsessed over, it might help to decode it…

Ariodo’s Diary, Log 62
Well. This is bad. I got fired.
What for? I got fired for conducting my experiments on intelligent lifeforms. One tried to speak to me, yet I declined them, because after all, he's just an inanimate object now, right?
Heh. They are idiots. All of them. Is scientific progress less important than morals and ethics? Why would it be?
You know what? I’ll just let science help me even more. They know what the, according to them, “unethical”, experiments were for.
However, they have put me on somewhat of a house arrest. I can’t tell anyone in Troms what is happening here. For let it be known Ariodo, the secret cannot get out...
