So the idea is simple enough, the current system for respawns is that you are SUPPOSED to spawn in the last city you visited. However whenever I die in some dungeon/quest areas I end up respawning in Corkus/the Tutorial. So I suggest a small addition that could make a big change.

Inns, each major settlement could have one (and some smaller ones as well)

Basically, in each Inn there would be an NPC named “Inn Keeper”, which when right clicked will bring up the INN-terface (kill me). There would be an option to “set spawn here” for a certain amount of emeralds. When that is purchased, the players spawn point will be automatically set to that Inn and they will respawn there until they change it.

it sounds like a nice idea, but I think it should be tweaked a bit, to prevent it from being too similar to scrolls. Also, the lore doesn't make sense to me. It's like if you die in real life, and you appeared at the hotel you were last in.

I like the idea but I agree with Mario, I think it could have a better lore, just because you normally respawn in a city, doesn’t mean that we should follow that lore if it can be made better.

I’m just firing off ideas here, but how about something to do with magic? Maybe it’s a wizard/witch’s house who promises you a spell which makes you respawn?

Or... just an Inn where you set your spawn, I don’t really see how it’s important that these have to fit into lore

Only problem tougth is that it doesnt make sense to die in asmhord and respawn in cinfras or detlas
