Buying mythics, price dropped, sold them because I didn't need them anymore or wanted to try out another one. Simple as that.

Oh, mustve misread your original post as ‘lost a ton of money and no idea how that happened’.

That happened because mythic price naturally changed. This will always happen as the supply increases or decreases. Mythics are like investments, they will certainly have their price change over time

Yes, but how so? Because, on the sidenote, mythics that are very famous and loved among the players, tend to be sold for more LE, due to the inflation. While 2 years ago, we had a total of maybe 40-50 stacks of LE on wynncraft, nowadays, we have some single players with double or tripple the ammount. Now people tend to pay more, which makes the items more expensive, and the little LE normal players have worth nothing in comparison to those dozens of stacks paid for a single item. If we just stopped the continuous money-income of wynncraft, like every player getting stacks of LE just for questing, or made it balance out, it should work properly. I mean, in the real world, inflation is regulated by printing money, yes, but not millions of Dollars a day. Right now, the inflation is not as bad as is. But if it further increases, we might have to pay 20 stacks for a Freedom in 2 years, and that I don't want, especially if you can prevent it now.

you cant stop the inflation with how wynncraft is designed as a game, you can only slow it down. to stop it completely you would have to stop generating money or at least cut most emeralds being generated to adjust to what is lost from players spending on potions npcs id etc. and even if u manage that there is still old players with tons of le that could push inflation up.

but inflation is not necesessarily a bad thing, since although more money is generated, items like armor weapons and other stuff people spend their money on is generated aswell. Some people might not agree becuase mythic prices fell but the wynn economy is growing. The price drops have other reasons like loot running and more ppl in general.

Hope all thins makes sense lmao

The Wynn economy is one in which money is constantly being created and destroyed, this is not like actual money where whoever you pay the money is used, and money is only distributed in relation to broken and damaged money. The amount of money given by Quests, Chests, and Item Buyers will always surpass the amount of money given to the Item Identifier or Merchants. The only way to fix inflation is to make a new currency I.E Diamonds DB & LD or to make newer emeralds where 2 old emeralds = 1 new emerald or something along those lines. Without other currencies to turn to like Zimbabwe did in their case of Hyperinflation, we must make a new currency if you wish to reset the counter to extreme hyperinflation because a currency never stays the same. In real life, it is thanks to counterfeiters and in Wynn, it is because more money is being "printed" than "destroyed". Your suggestions would I admit slow down the road to Inflation but it would be annoying af for people trying to buy stuff since the price of items do not change until people realize that there is more money to go around and it wouldn't stop the road to the inevitable so why bother? But you did put some thought into it and I appreciate that as compared to the shitposts that pop up in this section. Man, that got serious. Sometimes I forget we're talking about a block game.

That is however the cause of inflation in the first place. More money in circulation equals each emerald being worth less, so people need more emeralds to have the same value. Getting more emeralds added to the economy simply makes the problem worse.

But as more and more people join Wynncraft and do quests and get emeralds more Emeralds are put into circulation and there's way too much money which makes lets say something that used to cost 1le now 1.5le, this, therefore, decreases the buying power of the LE in your bank. No matter where the money is its buying power will decrease as more money is "printed" than the amount of money "destroyed".

So you want to make everyone’s money worth less, while it seems like a possibly good idea it one, doesn’t fix the problem, and 2 just makes people angry

My opinion is that if you wanna put money sinks (idk if that's the right term of not) make them useful money sinks, such as Tier 5 horses (50/50), or a potion of resistance to blindness / slowdown.

If you believe I'm wrong then feel free to let me know along with your reasoning. Also the 2 above are just examples I'm not suggesting that they should actually be added.
