    What about a "forging" mechanic that replaces the current reidentification? The identifications of items could be upgraded (maybe by 5% each time, until you reach the maximum of 130%). Of course this would cost money, depending on the level, the tier an the number of upgrades the item already has. This could be a money sink, but would also set a maximum price for items with good identifications at the player markt, because at some point it becomes cheaper to forge a medium item instead of buying a good one from a player. In addition, it would allow players to really "work" for good equipment (at the moment there are two ways to get good items: get lucky while grinding or buy them from other players).
    However, the prices must be well balanced. It shouldnt be possible to max out the ids of every random item, players should carefully think about which items they want to forge and how often.
