Interesting video. How would you fix the problems with Wynn's economy, as I don't think what's in that video works with the EULA.

isnt that basically kill streak? (thunder armor powder effect)
probably not the best cuz would take a lotta coding and classification of undead/not undead :/
however, would be an ok addition if the devs ever decide to expand on the undead/not undead theme more

As @Communisum would say, the first step is to overthrow the top 1% of the Wynncraft community. This means taking of all of their emeralds and items, and permanently banning any who refuse to comply. The next step is to burn any and all current and future mythics. After that, 5% of all players’ emeralds will be taxed and disappear for every 10 blocks the player travels as a form of travel fee. Many other taxes include and are not limited to: a conversion tax, a breathing tax, a play-time tax, an item sales tax, and a mana tax. Any player that refuses to pay or can’t pay will be kicked constantly from the server or permanently banned.

But don’t worry my comrades, because all of these taxes are not for nothing. The server will now provide a free education of the rules in-game, and the forum rules can only be accessed in-game. Also all Marketplace forum posts are now a bannable offense and all trading must take place in-game to prevent scamming. Only a mod can negotiate and set prices based on the sever’s policy.

Lastly, VIP Plaza is open to the public.

Eliminate most mobs from dropping emeralds, and buff drop rates for junk items and armors.

Here's my suggestion. I've seen this mechanic on another server, and I think it's pretty neat.

Items have a quality bar. Nothing happens at max quality(100%), but once the quality gets lower so does the effectiveness of the items(weapons do 1% less damage, armor gives 1% less HP and elemental def). The items do not break once the quality hits 0%, but they are pretty much useless(kind of like an elytra in Minecraft)but then you have to go to a vendor to get it repaired for materials or currency. This way, eventually money leaves the economy repairing your items and keeping them at top-notch quality.

Legendaries and mythics would obviously cost more to repair, while uniques and normals are quite cheap.

I hope you consider my idea.

It's an interesting idea for a money sink, but there are some issues. Firstly, this may well encourage the use of Mythics as currency, as actually using them as items would be more expensive.

If you make costs for higher-level items and Mythics too high, a lot of players won't be able to afford them and will be forced to spend a lot of emeralds just on keeping their mythic good. However, these costs will hardly affect the richest players.

This also gives richer players even more of a gameplay advantage, as they can keep their items close to max quality all the time.

I'm also wondering what happens to identifications as the quality drops. A lot of items are useful only because of the bonuses they give, and won't be affected as much by the quality.

For your point that mythics will be used as currency, the cost of repairing won't be too high, at least not to the point where repairing it from 0 to 100 for 3-5 times is nowhere near the market price. However, you do have a point with the second one. Not sure for a way around that. I don't want to encourage repairing it when it drops from 100% to 99%, but I'm not sure what math formula this would need.

I'm also hesitant to impose a limit as to how many times an item is repaired, because that will probably make things a lot worse.

I guess identifications would also decrease but this would be a hell of a task to program.

EDIT: Previously I saw someone suggest a casino idea that could act as a money sink, but I forgot who it was.

1 - Horses have always fluctuated, i've seen it all the way from 80Le to 120Le, back in 1.15.
Horse prices will always be the same because they have a set price based on mathematics and chances.
    (see - @Yuno F Gasai )

    Horses are a bad example.
    Use mythics instead.

I don't think casinos will be added, as it is explicitly gambling. Horses are already enough of a gamble, but if you add something which is literally a place where irl people go to gamble, people will protest.
